For many enthusiasts, fitting the very best hardware into a computer case comes at a high price. Unfortunately it means having large, unwieldy enclosures to house all of their hardware. If you're going to spend the time and money to build your own computer then why not house it in a case that's well made and stylish like the one from Lian Li. Today for review I've got the Lian Li PC-8FI Aluminum case, and I've got to say that it's very much true what they say about cases from Lian Li, they truly are of high quality and top notch design. This case features a tool less design and an all aluminum construction that's lightweight yet durable and good looking.
When presented with a chassis like Lian Li's PC-8FI, it is very hard not to heap praise on it like a smitten middle school girl. There is, nevertheless, a hell of a lot to recommend this case. It looks good, has a fabulous feature set with many excellent tool-free elements and top shelf cooling.

With more than 20 years manufacturing cases for the PC market Lian Li has more than enough experience in what works and how to engineer it. We will be taking a look at their latest creation to see if their engineering and experience has been put to good use.
