After the success of the original Cooler Master CM 690 II it is no great surprise that they have released a new and improved version. The reason for the success of the 690 II is that Cooler Master were able to fit full tower features into a mid tower chassis while maintaining a reasonable price point. They now claim to have raised the bar even higher, improving the colour of the interior, increasing the capacity, creating a superior cooling system and making the case more user-friendly.

BitFenix's Survivor case has a sleek, innovative look, outstanding feature set and a well-appointed I/O panel all packed into a Lan-friendly case with a rugged finish and sturdy handle. The interior is very roomy, for a mid-tower and has some outstanding cable management features and nicely configurable storage options.

Computer cases take on a variety of shapes and sizes and while a majority of those designs tend to be classified as a "mid tower" however the terms is very loosely followed given that most cases focus on providing the very most in the smallest chassis possible. So what was once features only for full tower case.

CM Storm is a brand from Cooler Master focused on high-end gaming products. We\'ve already reviewed Scout case and Sentinel Advance mouse and both got our highest praises. Let\'s see if Sniper Black Edition also follows the same path.

Earlier this year Cooler Master introduced the CM 690 II series at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. This new lineup succeeds the roughly 2.5 years old CM 690, which was a popular mid tower case due to its high bang-per-buck ratio. Just like the original CM 690 the new model features a mesh design for plenty of ventilation, but now with an all-black interior, more room, support for enthusiast-class cooling solutions and various other improvements.

We have taken a look at quite a few cases recently and most have been slightly out of the ordinary. As such, it is time to take a look at a case that on the face of it is much more the standard PC case-style. The question is: Just how good is it and can it stand out from the rest?

Some years ago, Intel tried to move beyond the ATX "Advanced Texchnology Extended" motherboard standard with a new design layout called BTX, for "Balanced Technology Extended". One of the main reasons for doing this was to improve the cooling of motherboard components. The new design called for new cases as well, and although a few BTX systems and cases were produced, they never caught on. The ATX standard remains today, albeit with variants like "MATX", "EATX" and "HPTX". But innovation in cooling and case design is hardly dead, as the SilverStone Fortress FT02 cases proves, and Benchmark Reviews checks it out to see if its unique vertical motherboard mounting design has any real-world benefits.
