What comes to mind when I mention the word "Phoenix"? Is it the Phoenix Coyotes from Phoenix, Arizona? Would it be the legendary firebird found in certain mythologies? I don't know about you, but the first thing that comes to my mind are items such as Phoenix Downs found in the Final Fantasy series. In mythological stories, it has been said that at the end of a Phoenix's life cycle, it encompasses itself in a blazing fire, and is regenerated from its own ashes in the form of an egg. The "Down" depicted in the FF series refer to the Phoenix's tail feathers, in which it is used to revive fallen characters in battle. When it comes down to a company called BitFenix, to my own interpretation, I can see where some of the inspiration is coming from. Being a relatively young company in the world of technology, to my understanding, BitFenix's main focus is to design hardware that can seamlessly be integrated to the expectations and daily usage of computer products to the end users. So when I first heard of the company, it occurs to me that this company is giving the end user a good sense of revival in terms of using technology with ease, even under extreme conditions. My idea of BitFenix in correlation to the Phoenix firebird is simply the fact that hardware created by this company should be relatively quite simple to use while providing great looks without overwhelming features. To see how it all works out, what we have in store today is the BitFenix Shinobi Window. Combining the reviving power of the Phoenix and the stealth of a Shinobi ninja warrior, I have a strong feeling that BitFenix has created quite a value case that would be quite competitive in the computer market. Keep reading to see what we have found!

The original Level 10 went down well worldwide (and my editor actually used one in his recent M-Power mod – click here for more info), so the Level 10 GT should hopefully be even better! The only complaint that most users had of the original Level 10, was the lack of space – the GT is here to address that.

To introduce us to their hardware, Ineo Technology sent over one of their 2.5" hard drive enclosures. The I-NA215U Plus is a lightweight and compact enclosure that features USB 3.0 connectivity. We will be covering the bare enclosure, but it is worth mentioning that they also offer the enclosure bundled with a 750GB hard drive.

The Sharkoon Fireglider is the most tragically whimsical name I’ve ever heard a mouse being given. When your friends ask you, “So, what mouse are you using?”, the answer “Sharkoon Fireglider” is not one you can give with a straight face. Don’t bring up its slogan either, “Procure the best advantage possible with the SHARKOON FireGlider!” That’s right, “procure” it.

Corsair has established itself quite nicely into the market of high end cases with their Obsedian series. Immediately competing with brands, that have been manufacturing cases for ages. Due to the high quality build and included features the price level was pretty elevated. Though Corsair is back with a vengeance. Targeting the sub 100 euro market now with it's latest Carbide series cases. It's main rivals probably will be from Coolermaster with it's legendary CM690 series. Or the newer but also insane popular HAF and Storm cases. Again not an easy task for the Corsair development team to design a case that looks slick, yet build of high quality components and including top notch features. Biggest issue is to keep the price at an affordable level. Time to introduce you to the Carbide 400R.

The blue highlights around the case are the most noticeable feature when it first comes out of the box. I like the headset hook on the MK-1 far more than the one that was included with the Level 10 GT. It folds up and is out of the way until it is needed. Taking a look at the side we can see the stylized window and large vent opening.
