So a little while ago I reviewed the Nanoxia Deep Silence 1 or DS1 mid tower case and it was made for silence as the name suggests. Nanoxia has since released another version of that that case called the Deep Silence 2 or DS2 for short which is very similar to the DS1 but there’s just a few features missing like the air chimney and the pop up USB ports, but other than that the case is pretty much the same overall. You’ll find sound dampening material all over the inside of the case making it very quiet, in fact I wasn’t even sure the system was running when I hit the power button, yes it’s that quiet. The DS2 case comes with three fans pre-installed for you but there’s room for five more in various locations in the case if you need the extra cooling. The DS2 has room for seven hard drives and three 5.25” devices, and it’s a case that’s very well made and sturdy with a lot of attention paid to detail and the overall design and usability of the case. So read on to learn more…

As far back as i can remember myself i always liked to have my systems installed inside full tower PC cases not only because i really wanted the extra space so i could mount hardware with ease but also because they offered the largest number of 5.25" drive bays possible something which made it very easy for me to install a CD/DVD-ROM and a fan controller and still have room left to fit other 5.25" sized devices as they came through the door. Unfortunately since everything tends to get smaller in size i can't say that PC case manufacturers have focused enough in producing high quality and feature rich full towers so when Corsair announced their plans to release the successor to the already great Obsidian 800D which has been amongst my favorite PC cases of all time i was very intrigued. Then again so were countless others out there and so although Corsair launched the 900D roughly 4 months ago due to the record sales numbers they had not a single one to spare and so we had to wait until almost three weeks ago to receive our very own sample which has been on our test bench ever since.

Regardless of how many PC Cases i review there seem to always be more and more arriving at my doorstep each day that goes by. Now last week i brought you two midi tower reviews, one regarding the latest Prominent R by NEXUS and one about the Overseer RX-I by Thermaltake. Both proved to be quite impressive but for some people their size (although midi) may just be a bit too much. For that reason today we will be taking a look at one of the latest midi towers introduced in the market by In-Win, the MANA 136 which is just a step beneath normal midi towers in terms of size.
