Die EoL (End of Life) Zeiträume von Lian Li scheinen sich neuerdings relativ schnell ihrem Verfallsdatum zu nähern. Nicht einmal ein Jahr nach der ersten Revision eines B25 Gehäuses, schickt Lian Li die überarbeitete Version dieses Modells erneut auf den Markt. Wiederum mit dem obligatorischen Blue-Ring, allerdings diesmal ohne die diskussionswürdige Frontklappe und mit allerlei weiteren Detailverbesserungen.
Lian Li is renowned for producing some of the best quality PC cases on the market and they have a large range geared towards mid to high-end users. Today we are going to look at the Lian Li PC-B25F mid-tower case which has been designed with tool-less operation in mind. It is certainly well featured but we will see whether this justifies its £130 price tag.
Lian Li are world-renowned for producing some of the best quality cases out there which we experienced with their PC-8FIB case a few weeks back. So when Lian Li offered to send us another case from their range we were eager to see how it would compare.
When presented with a chassis like Lian Li's PC-B25F, it is very hard not to heap praise on it like a smitten middle school girl. There is, nevertheless, a hell of a lot to recommend this case. It looks good, has a fabulous feature set with many excellent tool-free elements and top shelf cooling. What more do you want?

Der Gehäusespezialist Caseking aus Berlin bietet seit kurzem eine Modifikation diverser Gehäuse (bisher allerdings nur aus dem Hause Lian Li respektive Lancool) mit Material zur Schalldämmung an. Stillstand ist bekanntlich Rückschritt, diese etwas angestaubte aber immer noch gültige Weißheit hat sich Lian Li offensichtlich auf die frisch gereinigten Fahnen geschrieben, denn die Hatz nach dem ultimativen Aluminium Midi Tower geht bereits in die nächste Runde. Another thing that sets the Lian Li PC-A04 apart from the norm is that it's limited to micro-ATX motherboards. Two or three years ago, this would have been a showstopper, but in recent times there have been some excellent uATX boards hitting the market. There are even some offerings that forgo integrated graphics in favor of more performance-oriented chipsets. ASUS and MSI both make X58 boards for instance, and there are also several P67 choices available. So, don't feel that you have to reign in your performance expectations just because you want a smaller, more attractive box beside your desk. Benchmark Reviews took up the challenge of creating a full-aluminum mini tower build that's very different from your average "granny system".
The Lian Li PC-A79 Full Tower Case is all aluminum, comes has lots of drive bays, fans, dust filters, USB3 ports, plenty of space to work, full size removable motherboard tray, cable management holes & is water cooling ready. The styling is simple, but elegant and the build quality is exceptional. The only down side to this case is the price, but that's to be expected from a polished, feature rich case like this.
