Lian-Li’s historical reputation is filled with some of the most innovative designs and ideas such as their “reverse-ATX” models. To add to their history, their products are undeniably well built and host one of the highest levels of quality that is available today in the market, which we have really come to enjoy here at Benchmark Reviews. Even in their budget oriented cases, Lian-Li has managed to impress us in the past with their choice of designs and user friendly layouts. The Lian Li PC-Q07B ITX case is no exception, featuring a very appealing and extremely small minimalistic cube design, we found that this case is perfect for the current trend of mini-ITX systems that keeps growing due to the improved integration of motherboard chipsets.

NZXT cases are always unique looking and we often get requests to test them. The recently announced NZXT H440 also sparked a lot of interest which is probable partly due to some of the radical design choices that NZXT made. The front of the case is one solid piece and there are no 5,25" bay and this gives the case a very striking appearance, but like we are used to from NZXT they have given a lot of thought to the design. In our recent tests of the Phantom 530 and the H230 we found cooling performances a little lacking. The H440 probably won't change that being a silent case but we are interested to see how it will fare when compared to 13 other silence oriented cases.

Some system builders will want to create a new PC with up to 7 hard drives, have it booting from an SSD with tool-free accessibility and yet won’t want to spend more than £55 for the experience. If that sounds like you, then BitFenix has been working on a case that might just fit the bill.
Cases
When BitFenix first entered the chassis market they did so with a case which was much more impressive than a debutant should be able to create. Clearly they had a lot of design expertise behind the scenes but even down to the finish on the case the original Colossus was a unit with buying. Since then they have vastly expanded their range and one of the more recent units is the Colossus Micro-ATX. Today we have one of those on our test bench to see how it handles an enthusiast compact build.

People on a tight budget may not pay much attention when looking for a PC case but gamers, enthusiasts, overclockers and professionals alike tend to spend countless hours online checking reviews and specifications sheets before they finalize their decision. Ever since the beginning of the 90's when i first started working with personal computers i have used and tested countless towers from entry level budget models and up to ultra-high end ones that cost almost as much as a complete system. However at the end of the day although all of those were designed by a very large list of manufacturers in the market i can't really say that I’ve had the pleasure of cooperating with every single one. Raidmax is amongst the oldest PC Case manufacturers around and although not a complete stranger to me this is the first time after many years that i have one of their latest midi towers called the Viper GX on the photo bench.

NZXT have become legends in the eyes of many PC gamers, their chassis designs are highly focused on gaming builds and often offer loads of innovative features, cool designs, great build quality and more, the only downside being that all this glorious quality comes at a price. With many of the best NZXT chassis costing in excess of £100, it can leave many of us feeling left out as not everyone is comfortable with spending that kind of cash on a PC case, which is why NZXT has created the Phantom 240.

Not every case fits every person’s needs, Cooler Master recognized that and set out to make a case that people can adjust to what they need. Say for example that you want to pack your PC full of water cooling gear or an absolute ton of hard drives. The HAF Stacker can handle that and nearly anything else you might want to do. For CES this year a case modder even turned multiple stackers into a life sized monster. Today I’m going to take a look at the HAF Stacker 935 and 915F, the 935 comes with two models giving us a total of three pieces to try out different options.
