Im heutigen Bericht möchten wir Euch den HAF 922 aus dem Hause Cooler Master vorstellen. Nachdem wir ja schon dessen großen Bruder den HAF 932 getestet haben, ist es sehr interessant zu erfahren wie sich das kleiner Gehäuse aus der Serie im Test schlägt. Wie schon der 932er hat auch das 922er Gehäuse eine ganz eigene Optik und setzt wieder auf dasselbe Belüftungssystem. Der jüngste Spross innerhalb der 2008 lancierten Lian Li Armorsuit Familie, wurde schon im April angekündigt und soll ende September nun endlich auch auf dem deutschen Markt erhältlich sein. Das Lian Li keine sonderliche Eile an den Tag legt, läßt sich in diesem Fall aber eventuell nachvollziehen, denn das neue PC-P50 Gehäuse ähnelt dem Lancool K-58/K62 auch auf den zweiten Blick und die Gehäuse der Lian Li Tochter Lancool sollen schießlich auch verkauft werden. Ob es Sinn macht, innerhalb eines Konzerns so artverwandte Gehäuse zu offerieren, lassen wir mal dahingestellt sein. Viel interessanter für den Endanwender ist: was kann das immerhin 30 Euro teurere Lian Li PC-P50 besser als das K58/K62 von Lancool, wenn überhaupt?

Cooler Master's HAF 912 has proven to be a worthy addition to the HAF legacy, providing a budget, mid-tower chassis entry into the series with design elements and features seldom found in its price niche. While users will need to add a fan or two to make it live up to its “High Air Flow” moniker, the 912 is a very able chassis in other respects.
