Earlier this year Enermax announced new models in their case range and one of those was the Hoplite, a mid-tower model which is aimed at enthusiasts and gamers who are looking for a high level of build quality and features on a reasonable budget. Today we have one of those cases on our test bench so let's see how it looks.

Diese erfolgreiche und bekannte Marke hat man dazu genützt, um neue Komponenten auf den Markt zu bringen. Ihr neuestes Werk ist der Hoplite ECA3220 Midtower.
In unserem heutigen Artikel stellen wir Euch das neue Enermax Hoplite vor. Hopliten waren im antiken Griechenland gut ausgerüstete, schwer gepanzerte Fußsoldaten, die in Phalanx-Formation die Hauptkampflinie hielten. Aber im Gegensatz zu z.B. Kavallerie war ihre Ausrüstung auch nicht so teuer, dass sie sich nur Reiche leisten konnten. Auf das Enermax Hoplite umgemünzt bedeutet dies dann wohl: das Hoplite schützt mit seinem "Panzer" die Hardware und es sollte jedem finanziell möglich sein ein Hoplite zu erwerben. Auf den nächsten Seiten werden wir uns also jetzt das Gehäuse ein wenig genauer für Euch ansehen.
Today we are looking at the newest mid-tower case offering from Enermax called Hoplite. On paper the Hoplite has loads of features like hot swap bays, hard drive dock, and even ability to have a 2x120 radiator installed internally. So join us as we give the Hoplite a good looking over and see just what it does have to offer.
Enermax are well known for producing some of the best quality power supplies on the market and have recently produced a range of flashy LED fans which Zardon tested a few months back. But they also produce a range of PC cases, one of which they have sent us to test out.
Even though the days of the ‘beige box’ are over, there still aren’t a huge number of cases on the market that have a visual wow-factor. A number manufacturers like Lian Li and Fractal Design produce very elegant looking cases which are easy on the eye but aren’t exactly exciting.
The Hoplite ST is the latest mid-tower case from Enermax, featuring an external docking bay and a three-speed fan controller. Let’s see if the Hoplite ST deserves our recommendation.

The iVektor (ECA3310) is a Mid-Tower Case with gamer oriented styling from Enermax. There are many features in the iVektor, including liquid cooling support, up to six places to mount fans, adaptable hard drive cage for video cards up to 16.3 inches, and tool-less drive installation. The iVektor comes with two pre-installed 120mm fans, and pre-installed motherboard offsets.
These days it is pretty easy to find a computer chassis however, finding a good chassis that meets your needs can be quite a challenge. We feel that the Enermax iVektor brings with it a good balance of realistic features that will meet the needs of almost any system builder.
