Lian Li is a name that’s synonymous with high quality. If you know the name then you know that their stuff is not what one would call inexpensive at all. The price though is well worth it when it comes to the top quality in construction, design and functionality you’ll get when you purchase a Lian Li product. Today for review I have one of their new USB 3.0 enclosures, just named the EX-103. It’s not exactly what we think of when you mention enclosure though, it’s not quite portable, it’s meant more to sit on your desk than travel with you. The enclosure is very well made as you might expect from Lian Li, and it has a subtle yet stylish design to it. So read on to learn more..

Today I will be taking a look at the ISK110, a M-ITX chassis solution from Antec. The ISK110 has a few stand out features that I'm keen to take a look at today, first of all is it's overall size, with it being barely larger than an M-ITX motherboard, it's built in PSU and it's VESA mounting capabilities.

It’s been a while since I’ve taken a look at any PC cases, but Raidmax emailed me and asked if I’d like to take a look at one of their newest ones, the Skyline. I said sure of course, I’m always up for something new and exciting, so that’s where we are today, I’ve got a review of the Raidmax Skyline case for you. On the outside the Skyline is stylish and has a nice look to it, inside it features three 120mm fans and an 80mm side fan as well. There’s also a hard drive cage that swivels out for easy access along with tool-less 5.25” bays. Sounds like a decent case, but once I got started installing a system in it I ran into several problems that detract from my overall view of this case, so read on..

Silverstone has been involved in the Mini-ITX gaming market for a long time now. Not only have they had a wide variety of case options, but they have also provided short cabled power supplies and more recently they have been the only manufacture with a good SFX power supply for small form factor gaming. On top of all of this, they have been known to really change things up with unique case designs. Their most recent Raven design would have to be considered unique as well. With a look that reminds me of modern day consoles, I suspect that the Raven RVZ01 could be the perfect case for a Steambox build. Let’s see if that is the case.

Fractal Design's Node 804 launches today. With space for multiple liquid cooling radiators, the largest of graphics cards and even extended length PSUs we will throw an overclocked (liquid cooled) i7 build complete with 295X2 and Corsairs AX1500i at the Node 804 to see if it can cope.

You can always count on Lian Li to do something a little different, this year alone we’ve seen a chassis that looks like a brief case, another that looks like a train and now we have one here today that looks like a cross between an ATM machine and a CRT monitor! And while of course they make “normal” cases as well, it is never a dull day to see something unique come through the eTeknix office and since I absolutely loved the CK101 (train) and the TU100 (brief case), I really can’t wait to see what this new one has to offer.
Lian Li have a rock solid fan base and while their products are often a little more expensive than most other brands, it is often for good reason. They’ve proven time and time again that their build quality is world-class, their engineering is impeccable and their use of beautifully finished aluminium panels is unmatched and I’ll be expecting the same high standards from this chassis that I have seen from other parts of the Lian Li range.
There is no doubt this is a specialist product, it is strange, obscure and even a little expensive for what it is, but the question remains, is it worth it? Well let’s get right to the good stuff and see if we can find out!

More than a year ago we took a close look at the original NZXT Tempest and gave it our OCIA.net Seal of Approval. Among the list of laudations were its good looks, roomy interior, massive amount of airflow yet quiet operation and reasonable price. Externally the Tempest EVO doesn't look much different, it shares the same appearance, dimensions and weight as the Tempest. It also offers the same number of drive bays, cooling fans and expansion slots. So what, if anything, did NZXT actually do to the Tempest to warrant giving it a suffix?
