Today I will be taking a look at the latest entry to the Thermaltake chassis range, they're all new Urban S31. There are two main models for this chassis, one without a side panel and one with, but I'm lucky enough today to have hold of the edition with the side panel window.
Priced at around £90 for the windowed edition, or £85 for the non windowed its safe to say that this chassis isn't cheap, as you approach the £100 mark your entering some extremely competitive territory, where anyone spending that kind of money is looking to build a mid to high-end performance rig. For this kind of money you want support for modern features and components, good style and design, great build quality and usually something extra that makes the chassis stand out from the crowd, something that isn't so much a gimmick, but something that adds true value to the product.
Thermaltake have a fantastic reputation in the PC market, not only from their award-winning chassis designs, but also for some of the best power supplies and CPU coolers and with many years of knowledge under their belt I'm confident that they can make a great product.

Silverstone’s Precision PS08 is available in an all-white or all-black version and can fit mATX as well as mini-ITX motherboards. Despite the small size, the Silverstone PS08 can house aftermarket CPU coolers up to 140mm tall as well as video cards up to 358mm long. A 120mm fan is pre-installed in the front intake that has a measured max 1238 rpm (via ASUS FanXpert2) and runs relatively silent even on full voltage. An optional 80mm fan can be installed in the front intake and either an 80mm or 92mm fan can be installed in the rear of the PS08 as exhaust. The front intake of the PS08 has a removable dust filter and both front panel Universal Serial Bus ports use a 19-pin USB 3.0 header.

During COMPUTEX 2013 CORSAIR introduced a few new enclosures, the Carbide 330R and the 450 AIR version. While the first is more a refinement of exiting designs, the new 450 AIR sports a revolutionary design for mass production cases. The concept behind this case is that the case is divided in two halves. One side houses the mainboard, graphic card and cooling devices; in the second compartment installation of the SSD and optical drives and power supply is foreseen, thus the airflow is maximized for the hotter running components of your favourite hardware. The big custom made cube cases, in particular the UFO series from Mountain Mods are the foundation for these particular multi-compartment designs. However CORSAIR seems to have pulled it off to bring this design to the masses at a fraction of the cost.

While most enthusiasts prefer Full Tower cases because of the ample amount of space for things like water-cooling solutions and multiple video card setups, sometimes the sheer size of the cases can be prohibitive as far as portability. Luckily there has always been a healthy market for enthusiast minded Mid Towers. Today we look at the G7 Mid Tower from InWin that promises to offer a great blend of features, performance and quality aimed at DIY enthusiasts. Will it stand tall among quality competition? Let’s find out.

NZXT has dabbled in quiet cases before (Hush, H2). While I don’t personally have experience with those particular chassis, I’ve gathered the attempts in the past have left consumers wanting. It appears a revived Phantom line has also provided another opportunity for NZXT Technologies to tackle the “silent” segment once again – can NZXT bring the H series of chassis to new levels with the H630 Silent Ultra Tower Computer Case? Benchmark Reviews has a chance to answer this question.

With the launch of Nvidia's new range of high end graphic cards well under way it is time for the Santa Clara engineering team to turn its attention to the more affordable end of the market. Each generation has its 'people's champion' and Jen Hsun Huang will surely be hoping that the GTX760 can be that card for 2013. The MESH brand has been around since 1987 and when we asked them for a powerful, affordable GTX760 SLi system for analysis, they happily obliged.

Fractal Design has made themselves a reputation for quality and attractive chassis that can serve as capable as a gaming system just as it would in your living room as your home theater PC (HTPC). With the Node 304 White enclosure, Fractal Design is offering a small form factor chassis with a lot of storage flexibility and still the ability to have a full size video card, all for under $90. The challenge with the living room is the acoustics play as critical a role as the aesthetics, so that will all be considered as we evaluate the Node 304.
