Noctua beschert in letzter Zeit häufiger mit, wie gewohnt, hochwertigen, neuen Lüfterserien. Nach dem Erscheinen der A-Serie mit Lüftern im Größenformat von 40-150mm Rotorblattgröße, die wir uns auch schon alle genauer angeschaut haben, ist letztens eine weitere neue Serie released worden. Die „S12A“-Reihe, um die es sich im heutigen Test drehen wird, kommt in drei verschiedenen Versionen daher. Vom ultraleisen über den leistungsfähigen bis hin zum PWM-gesteuerten Lüfter soll dem Kunden ein breites Spektrum für die jeweiligen Ansprüche geboten werden.

Today we are looking at a new fan from Noctua the NF-S12B (specifically the FLX 1200/900/600RPM version). The NF-S12B is an update on their popular NF-S12 Case Fan

Noctua is one of our favorite cooling brands as most of their products are well made and come with promising performance. Today we will take a quick look on their latest product; NF-S12B which is the next generation of quiet fan featuring with Noctua's advanced SCD2 technology and highly optimized blade geometry.
Noctua makes excellent products and the NF-S12B FLX is no different. It is certainly a unique fan in terms of aesthetics, design and engineering. This is especially evident in the attention to detail that Noctua has paid to the fan - for example, the beveled blade tips. Using the included noise-reduction adaptors, you can make the fan run almost silently without compromising performance too much - not that it is loud by any means even at the normal setting.

Mit dem neuen NF-S12B FLX zeigt der Hersteller nun Lüfter, die die bekannte S12 und P12 Serie überflügeln soll. Noctua are considered a top brand when it comes to the cooling department. Their unique colour scheme and product naming set them apart from rivalling companies and over time Noctua products have been granted some of the highest accolades out there. The NF-S12 fan was an instant success and further showcased Noctua’s ability in this market. Recently this particular fan has been updated with two new versions: the NF-S12B FLX and ULN. Today, we take a look at the FLX version which features high versatility; one can only hope it is half as good as its predecessor.
