Today we have another brand arrived on our doorstep; Coolink which seems a new brand to us because actually it is a retail brand of an OEM cooler maker; Kolink which was established in year 1996 so it is not surprised if you never heard of Coolink before. Let us take a look on their first notebook cooler; LapChilla where we are attracted by its 22mm cooling fan.

DeepCool's IceBlade Pro heatsink is Xigmatek-esq looking exposed heatpipe base CPU cooler with a dark nickel plating over every inch. The IceBlade Pro is built around four 8mm diameter copper heatpipes which conduct heat to the aluminum cooling fins above. Exposed heatpipe heatsinks are good with CPUs that have large integrated heat spreaders and large silicon die's below (to spread the heat around). One or two 120mm fans can be mounted to either side of the cooler, and rubber vibration absorbing posts are supplied along with extra fan clips. A single 120mm PWM fan that operates at 900-1500RPM is supplied.

In the end, I was very impressed with this heat sink's performance. Utilizing only 4 heat pipes in direct contact with the processor, it pushed ahead of its competition. My only concern would fall with the universal mount and the possibility of the excess material impinging on a protruding transistor or capacitor. Sometimes doing more with less isn't always a great idea.

Noctua has sent us their newest case fan for us to review, the NF-S12B FLX. Succeeding the vastly successful NF-S12, the NF-S12B is a next generation quiet fan featuring Noctua's advanced SCD2 technology as well as a new blade geometry with Bevelled Blade Tips that improves its predecessor's airflow efficiency by up to 10%. Read on to see how this new fan performs.

Overclockers and performance enthusiasts share the same desire to cool their processor with the best possible hardware solution. Benchmark Reviews first tested the cooling performance on the Intel Core i7 platform in the Best CPU Cooler Performance LGA1366 - Q1 2009 article, which discovered the now-famous Prolimatech Megahalems CPU Cooler. With such a dominant hold on cooling performance, the CPU cooler industry has been slow to respond with even better products. In this article, Benchmark Reviews tests a new collection of products in the Best CPU Cooler Performance LGA1366 Q2 - 20! 09.

3Rsystem's Iceage 80 Prima Mini is a compact CPU cooler that stands just 104mm tall. It's ideally suited towards compact PC systems, slim cases, or simply as a low noise cooling solution for energy efficient sub-85W processors. Given the burgeoning volume of 85W, 65W and 45W energy efficient processors, compact coolers like the Iceage 80 Prima Mini are certainly handy for any PC situation where there's not a lot of headroom

Coolermaster has a reputation in the world of hardware cooling. They are well known for their excellent heatsinks and water-cooling devices. I've used several of their products over the years and have rarely been disappointed. The old saying goes that you get what you pay for, and with Coolermaster, even if you feel you are buying the name, their reputation always holds up to expectations. So when I got the opportunity to review the Hyper TX3, I jumped on it. So here's a little preview of what the TX3 claims to do, and then we'll put it to the test to see what it's really made of.

DeepCool's Killer Whale heatsink is a top-down cooler built around two critical things. It has a hefty solid copper heat spreader (base) onto which six 6mm diameter heatpipes have been soldered, and a large and potentially very quiet 48mm thick 120mm PWM fan that spins at 1000-1800RPM. The fan moves approximately 78CFM, while generating at most 53.5 dBA and at least a whisper quiet 34.8 dBA. The Killer Whale stands 140mm tall and weighs a hefty 900 grams, but if you were to replace the fan with a more compact 120mm model that height could be as little as 92mm + fan thickness.
