Xigmatek's Loki is a terrific little cooler that packs a lot of performance into a compact package that's easily installed and should fit on just about any board and in most cases. Widely available online for as little as $25 US, Loki is also very reasonable and represents an excellent value.

Some people like quiet computing, others like the wind tunnel experience. Personally, I fall somewhere in the middle. The winding hum of fans whisking air through my rig is calming for me; much like vacuums to a baby. However, I am not the norm, oddly. Many of today's users seem to look towards a peaceful experience in front of the keyboard instead of the days when we thought having a computer that sounded like a hovercraft was cool. A few companies have made a name for themselves by offering peripherals and devices that marry performance with peace and quiet. Nexus thinks they have the proper balance with their new FLC-3000 (R2).

Hello, today I‘ve got another CPU cooler for review. It’s the Transformer 4 from Evercool, and it’s huge but it performs very well. This cooler is one of the best I’ve tested lately and it’s also one of the quietest as well. The Transformer 4 can be a bit tricky to install, and if you have large style ram in your computer it might not fit at all. Anyway, read on to learn more…

With more and more laptop coolers passing through our doors, I have seen enough to get a basic feel for the market. Some coolers look like space ships with bulky plastic and rubber pieces and get surrounded by LEDs; some with and some without lighting control. If I was a teenager again, these things would all appeal to me, and at that point I know noise wasn't as much of an issue for me back then, but with lots of other things going on in the world around a PC, I like to see performance without making my ears bleed in the process.

The Zalman CNPS5X is a tower CPU cooler with three heatpipes and a 92 mm fan. Let's take a look at its performance.

Currently, one of the most competitive computer markets is the CPU cooling and especially the high-powered and more exclusive heat sinks. There are a lot of advantages to having a good CPU cooler, it can allow for a faster stable over clock, or it can keep your computer cooler and quieter.

Evercool turns out a number of solid products and the HPL-815EP is no exception. It may have a less than flashy name but it gets the job done. It is a good cooler if you have limited space and have no intentions of overclocking making it a perfect choice for home theater PCs no matter your choice in processor.

Zalman really has it going on with the new 11X Extreme. The five composite heatpipes and the innovative design allow its fan to provide some excellent cooling with very reasonable acoustics. Really, the only complaint I have about the 11X is the mounting solutions. While the cooler is very secure with this mounting scheme, I miss the ease with which most previous Zalman coolers could be installed, even inside the case.
