I have been covering computer hardware for quite some time and one thing that I’ve seen a lot of are companies that specialize in CPU coolers and cooling come and go. Today we are checking out a CPU cooler from a relatively new company called Phanteks. They currently offer CPU Cooler and cooling fan solutions. The CPU cooler is the PH-TC14CS which is a C-type cooler that features dual 140mm fans, 5 heatpipes, and a large copper base. The cooler also comes in a variety of colors so you can match it up with your case and other components. Read on as we check it out.

Today we are going to look at the PH-TC14CS CPU cooler from Phanteks. It’s clear that there are a few key design similarities with the PH-TC14PE but the fundamental design of the cooler is very different. The PH-TC14CS uses a C-shaped heatpipe design so that the fans can blow downwards towards the CPU socket.

The PH-TC14CS is a CPU cooler from Phanteks, with a horizontal heatsink, two 140 mm fans, and five heatpipes. Lets test it!

Phanteks delivers a C-style cooler to the lab for testing. Take a look at what the PH-TC14CS brings to CPU cooling.

Today we have the second HSF offering from Phanteks. The Phanteks PH-TC14CS is a down draft CPU cooler, rather than a standard tower cooler. With Dual Phanteks PH-F140 Premium 140mm fans and five 8mm heatpipes it looks like this cooler should perform pretty well. Join us as we put Phanteks PH-TC14CS CPU cooler to the test on our Intel LGA2011 test bench and see how it can handle the heat.

Phanteks pushes forward with another tower in their line-up; take a look at the new PH-TC12DX.

Phanteks are a brand that seem to have slipped under the eTeknix radar in our short existence since 2008. Yet Phanteks make some of the best fans and CPU coolers on the market, even if their range of products is quite limited. Phanteks are most for their PH-TC14PE CPU cooler, know as the NH-D14 killer to some, yet reviews were generally inconclusive and suggest that both PH-TC14PE an NH-D14 are on somewhat equal footing. Either way we are not here today to discuss the PH-TC14PE but Phanteks latest mid-range CPU cooler the PH-TC12DX.
In terms of specifications this unit is pretty standard for its price point. We’ve got a couple of 120mm PWM fans, four heat pipes and an average tower heatsink unit. Yet according to what Phanteks tell us there is a lot more to this heatsink than just that. With advanced P.A.T.S and C.P.S.C technologies, surely we should expect a level of performance that goes beyond what we’d expect from this type of cooler? Well that is for the review to reveal. Below you can check out the full specifications of the PH-TC12DX.

Phanteks is a fairly new company that was founded in 2007 by engineers and a Dutch design team. They first came to fame with their PH-TC14PE cooler. Since then, they have diversified by developing a case, fans, and several other CPU coolers. Today, they have sent over the PH-TC12DX the little brother to the PH-TC14PE. This cooler is based on the tower design, with four heatpipes, dual 120mm fans and a universal mounting system. Read on to see how it performs!

Aiming to stamp its authority in another segment of the CPU cooling market, Phanteks has released a mid-range model in the PH-TC12DX. Does the dual fan PH-TC12DX have what it takes to shine in an overly-cramped market?
