Mit dem Zitat "eine neue Macht erhebt sich" möchte ich den Artikel zu Phanteks aktuellem und bisher einzigem CPU-Kühler dem Phanteks PH-TC14PE beginnen. Mit Phanteks traut sich endlich nach längerer Zeit mal wieder eine komplett neue Brand ihren Fuß in den hart umkämpften Markt für PC-Kühlung bzw. CPU-Kühler zu setzten. Ob dieses Unternehmen erfolgreich sein wird, wird die Zeit zeigen, das Startprodukt der PH-TC14PE weiß allerdings auf dem Papier schon zu beeindrucken und bietet einige sehr interessante Innovationen. Ob Phanteks mit ihrem Debüt Kühler auf ganzer Linie überzeugen kann will ich nun mit diesem Test herausfinden.
Wie wäre es denn mit einem blauen Prozessorkühler? Für die Kühlerspezialisten von Phanteks kein Problem. Mit dem PH-TC14PE wird die bisher recht triste Kühlerkonkurrenz um einem Doppeltower-Kühler im 140-mm-Format, der in den Farbversionen blau, rot, orange und weiß erhältlich ist, bereichert. Dabei will der Neuling aber auch in Puncto Kühlleistung neue Maßstäbe setzen.

Today we are going to look at the Phanteks PH-TC14PE CPU cooler which is designed to battle head on with the likes of the Noctua NH-D14. Phanteks may not be a very well known brand in enthusiast circles but we can’t help but get a little excited by the PH-TC14PE cooler. It features a similar sandwich design to the Noctua NH-D14 and also features large 140mm fans, but the big question is – can it take on the D14 in the ultra high end sector?
Up for review today is another CPU cooler, this one is the latest and greatest from a company called Phanteks. I’ve not had the pleasure of reviewing their products before so this is a treat for me. The cooler is the PH-TC14CS_RD where the RD means red, yes the cooler is red in color but there are several other color options available. The PH-TC14CS is a rather beefy cooler and it comes with two 140mm fans making it even larger in size, but it’s meant to be a top-notch performer and I can tell you that it is easily keeping my Core i7 2600K cool even while overclocked.
