Aircooling
A low profile cpu cool from Evercool with low price and not-so-bad performance.
Aircooling
This time we tested Evercool HPK-10025EA, a CPU cooler with an horizontal heatsink, 100-mm fan and four heatpipes. Check it out!
Aircooling
Evercool seems to have hit upon a good cooling design with the HPK-10025EA. Finally a small, low profile cooler has arrived that can really perform better than the OEM unit without breaking the bank.
Aircooling
The Evercool HPK-10025EA heatsink uses a simple arrangement of swagged aluminum fins over four 6mm diameter copper heatpipes, connected by a short distance to the CPU. The entire heatsink stands 65mm tall and weighs a feathery 320 grams. The four heatpipes are exposed at the base of the heatsink, which although now a common technique is a first for such a low profile heatsink. The stubby aluminum fins rest below an Arctic Cooling style, red 110mm fan that rotates at a moderately audible 1800RPM.

Evercool, a company which specialise in the cooling market, provide our latest CPU cooler sample to pit it wits against our i7 rig. The cooler in question with its low profile architecture is designed to suit HTPCs and small cases. Named the HPK-10025EA, this cooler is solely Intel orientated for both LGA775 and LGA1366 sockets but how well can it contend with the high 130W TDP of the i7 920 processor.

Evercool seems to have hit upon a good cooling design with the HPK-10025EA. Finally a small, low profile cooler has arrived that can really perform better than the OEM unit without breaking the bank. Available online for as little as $25 US, this little heatsink is a very good value, provided you don't expect too much of it, wattwise.
Aircooling
Evercool has updated their 10025EA cooler to support both AMD and Intel socket 1156 processors with the HPKC-10025EA. With a low profile, adjustable mounting brackets and easy installation the HPKC-10025EA may have a hard to remember name but it makes a great option to replace that stock cooler.
Aircooling
Today we are going to look at a CPU cooler from Evercool, their latest low profile solution, the HPL-815. The HPL-815 should fit well in the HTPC market. The fan used on this cooler is a mere 15mm thick and spins between 1,000 and 4,000 RPM. When spinning at 2,200 RPM it is rated at less than 20 dBA which should be ideal for a low noise media center build.
Aircooling
Standing just 45mm tall, the Evercool HPL-815 is a low profile heatsink suited for use in 2U thick computer cases. It's equipped with a top mounted 80x80x15mm PWM fan that rotates at speeds of 4000-1000RPM, exhausting air downwards into a 23mm tall array of quilted aluminum fins. In fact, of all the sub-60mm low profile heatsinks Frostytech has tested the HPL-815 ranks 7°C cooler (at 4000RPM fan speed) than the next best thermal solution.
Aircooling
Evercool turns out a number of solid products and the HPL-815EP is no exception. It may have a less than flashy name but it gets the job done. It is a good cooler if you have limited space and have no intentions of overclocking making it a perfect choice for home theater PCs no matter your choice in processor.
