SilverStone may be known for their cooling, but not necessarily their CPU coolers. As a company, they’ve brought forward many innovations and unique, successful approaches to the ATX case standard with their AP series fans and rotated motherboard enclosures. It’s not that SilverStone is a stranger to CPU cooling - there were the Nitrogen special-application series before the new Argon series, as well as the Heligon high-performance line of heat-sinks. The Argon AR01, AR02, and AR03 are all designed to be more accessible alternatives for enthusiasts, with each model fulfilling a specific purpose. The SilverStone SST-AR01 is designed to be a price/performance leader in the market, and is the cooler that Benchmark Reviews will be taking a look at today.

Having 2 out of our 3 test rigs housed inside HPTX towers is perhaps the best indication that i personally have no intention of actually using an m-ATX or m-ITX PC case at least not any time soon (who knows how things may turn out in the following years?) but it really seems that the recent increase in m-ATX and m-ITX compatible PC Cases in the market has intrigued quite a few people out there (judging from all the messages we've been getting) so naturally it was only a matter of time before the leading CPU Cooling manufacturers found ways to further improve on their current solutions. Thermalright is amongst them and although the original AXP-100 low profile CPU Cooler released roughly 10 months ago proved to be very successful they didn't stop there and so recently they updated the AXP line with the AXP-200 which ended up on our test bench just less than a month ago.

After a long hiatus with TweakTown, Prolimatech delivered the Armageddon Blue Series CPU cooler to have a look at. Let's see how it performs.

Although watercooling in general seems to be gaining ground thanks to the numerous custom watercooling kits and AIO solutions introduced/announced recently by quite a few manufacturers there's no denying that normal CPU Air Coolers still have much life left in them and to many people they are still the primary choice to keep their CPUs cool at a low cost. This is i guess the one thing that normal air coolers have that watercoolers don't so even if you just want to spend 20 bucks for a CPU Cooler chances are you will find at least one model in the market and it even might be a good one at that. However performance always comes at a cost and so the really powerful Air Coolers rival the AIO Liquid Coolers both in terms of cooling efficiency and price. Well the massive Frio Extreme by Thermaltake is one such CPU Air Cooler and we've been testing it for the past 3 days to see exactly how it fairs against the competition.

Just like the previously reviewed THEMIS Evo, the Raijintek Pallas showed incredible thermal control at a very good price point. Considering that it can go toe-to-toe with larger tower-style coolers, the Raijintek Pallas is not a typical low-profile cooler just for HTPC use. The design and the build quality is also impeccable with detailed touches not just for aesthetic reasons but for practical functionality as well.

Continuing on from the Noctua NH-C14S review, we have another revision of another Noctua cooler. This time the flagship NH-D15 gets the treatment in the form of the NH-D15S. The Noctua NH-C14S is a really impressive cooler and a typical Noctua design, unusual but sublime in its execution.

Is the Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme and the Asus Triton 81 cool enough
for Intel's latest Core i7 (LGA1366) processors? Will overclocking take
its toll on these two heatpipe designs? Chill and read our comparison
