This was my first hands on experience with a Spire product, and I can comfortably say that this little cooler definitely surprised me. I’m really not sure what was more surprising though, the fact that the install took just about three minutes to complete, or that for such a small cooler it was able to keep up with one of the larger coolers that I’ve tested...

Today we are reviewing the new EFZ-120HA5 heatsink from SilenX Corporation. The EFZ-120HA5 is a tower style heatsink that utilizes three 6mm heatpipes that contact directly with the processor for maximum thermal dissipation. A universal mounting bracket supports the widest range of current AMD and Intel sockets, including the latest multicore Phenom and i3/i5/i7 processors.

Avec le Hyper 412S, Cooler Master un petit trou d'environ 15€ parmi sa gamme de radiateurs CPU. Un choix étonnant, mais qui s'avère au final très intéressant, comme vous pourrez le découvrir dans ces quelques pages.

Up for review today is another CPU cooler, this one is the latest and greatest from a company called Phanteks. I’ve not had the pleasure of reviewing their products before so this is a treat for me. The cooler is the PH-TC14CS_RD where the RD means red, yes the cooler is red in color but there are several other color options available. The PH-TC14CS is a rather beefy cooler and it comes with two 140mm fans making it even larger in size, but it’s meant to be a top-notch performer and I can tell you that it is easily keeping my Core i7 2600K cool even while overclocked. The cooler can be used in different configurations offering several mounting options in your case, one of them is the ability to use one fan on top allowing you to use larger style ram in your system. This Phanteks cooler is well made and it performs very well, so read on to learn more…

The Zalman CNPS8900 Extreme performed very well even with a 4.0 GHz overclock on our Intel Core i5-2500K processor. It was only a few degrees shy of Corsair’s H50 liquid cooler and well outperformed the stock cooling solution from Intel. This product is listed under Zalman’s CNPS category for Case Noise Prevention System, however...

The Frio Extreme is a large twin tower heatsink with two massive 140mm fans and a commanding foot print of 150mm square! Standing 161mm tall and weighing 1.23 kilograms, the Frio Extreme is destined for full tower gaming cases with plenty of room to spare. As you might expect, the Frio Extreme's dual 140mm PWM fans are arranged in a push-pull configuration and scale in speed from 1800-to-1200RPM. Behind each fan is a 110mm tall aluminum fin tower connected by a row of six standard heatpipes to a nickel-plated copper base plate. The twin fans drive up to 106CFM of air each, so the heatsink is a bit loud when running at full clip.
