For many years ARCTIC have been creating some of the finest cooling solutions. Today we are looking at their latest Accelero Xtreme III triple fan cooler which has support for Nvidia’s flagship GTX680 graphics card. We know this cooler will annihilate Nvidia’s reference cooler, but can it possibly outperform the stunning triple slot DirectCU II TOP cooler features on the overclocked Asus GTX680 TOP?

Today we have a guest article from Martin who tested 30 different 120mm fans when mounted on a water-cooling radiator. He measured generated noise, cubic feet per minute of air moved with each fan, allowing for some impressive comparative result charts. If you arere looking for a 120mm fan upgrade, this article is a must read!

The nPowertek TTIC NPH-105 heatsink is an interesting CPU cooler because it is constructed with 6mm diameter copper heatpipes (two) and a not so common 25mm diameter copper 'heat column' that is capable of moving a lot of heat on its own. A heat column is like a big heatpipe and it conducts heat in much the same way, but with a larger surface area in contact with CPU heat source and the heatsink's cooling fins.

The Zalman CNPS11X Extreme is equipped with one 120mm PWM fan that rotates at 1000-1950RPM and moves air through a pair of thin aluminum fin towers set at 80-degress to each other. Five 6mm diameter composite wick heatpipes conduct heat from the copper base plate to the twin 100mm fin stacks. Zalman use composite copper heatpipes on the CNPS11X Extreme heatsink; there's no way to illustrate the wick structure on the inside of the heatpipes without destroying the CNPS11X Extreme in the process, so Frostytech did just that with the aid of a diamond saw.

Having 2 out of our 3 test rigs housed inside HPTX towers is perhaps the best indication that i personally have no intention of actually using an m-ATX or m-ITX PC case at least not any time soon (who knows how things may turn out in the following years?) but it really seems that the recent increase in m-ATX and m-ITX compatible PC Cases in the market has intrigued quite a few people out there (judging from all the messages we've been getting) so naturally it was only a matter of time before the leading CPU Cooling manufacturers found ways to further improve on their current solutions. Thermalright is amongst them and although the original AXP-100 low profile CPU Cooler released roughly 10 months ago proved to be very successful they didn't stop there and so recently they updated the AXP line with the AXP-200 which ended up on our test bench just less than a month ago.

Antec has been in the business for a long time. In fact, they are celebrating their silver anniversary. That's right, Antec brings twenty-five years of experience to the table! With this sort of history, they know a good idea when they see one, and of course they saw what all the rage is in all-in-one water cooling loops. Corsair and CoolIt have made good amounts of money off of this concept, and now Antec figures it is time for their share of the market. I assume this is where the call went over to Asetek from Antec.

Build quality is obviously an important thing to take into account when purchasing a product. Even the best performing piece of hardware is useless if it falls to pieces soon after you buy it. Today, ASE Labs has the Evercool Royal Notebook Cooler which is a product designed to survive the rigors of daily use and look good doing it. But how does this cooler fit for a king really hold up?
