Let's test the SilverStone HE01 CPU cooler, which has two tower heatsinks, six heatpipes, and one 140 mm fan. Check it out!
Aircooling
SilverStone make some of the best air CPU coolers in the industry at both the high performance premium end of the market and cost-effective budget end of the market. Today we have with us an offering from SilverStone that is very much a budget offering. The SilverStone AR01 is part of SilverStone's Argon series of CPU coolers and this particular unit will be one of three, the AR01, AR02 and AR03. The AR02 will be a shrunken version of the AR01 and the AR03 will be a higher performance version using six heat pipes designed for bigger CPUs like LGA 2011 and LGA 1366.

The SilverStone Argon AR03 CPU Cooler has many aluminum fins, 6 copper heatpipes, performs well and is affordable. Note that heatpipes are 6mm in diameter and the base uses Heat-pipe Direct Contact technology(HDC). Also, it comes with one PWM 120mm fan, but another fan can be added for better performance.

We're throwing the new 200W Frostytech Mrk.III Intel LGA2011 test platform thermal test platform into the mix today! Silverstone's Argon AR01 is constructed around three beefy 8mm diameter copper heatpipes which are exposed at the base of the cooler. Putting the heatpipes in direct contact with the top of the processor makes for a very thermally efficient path with a minimum of thermal joint resistance

We continue that refresh of our cooler reviews today with a look at one of SilverStones latest models. We last looked at one of their liquid coolers a couple of months ago in the form of the TD03 and were pretty impressed so let's see what the AR03 has to offer...
Aircooling
SilverStone released their Argon series of CPU coolers about three months ago and this launch comprised of the AR01, AR02 and AR03. We have actually already reviewed the SilverStone AR01 and you can see our review here. Today we are taking a look at what you might call the AR02's younger sibling as this is essentially an identical CPU cooler except shrunken down quite a lot. Unlike its bigger sibling it features three 6mm not 8mm heat pipes, a 92mm fan not a 120mm fan and a much smaller heatsink. You can see the full specifications below.
Being so low cost and compact this CPU cooler is really aimed at budget users with space constraints and would be perfect for micro-ATX and HTPC cases that only support small CPU coolers. With quite significant down-sizing versus the AR01 we are expecting the performance to drop off a bit but the AR01 was an epic performing CPU cooler as our results showed and so we are still expecting results from this AR02 to be strong.
Aircooling
This time, we tested the SilverStone AR02 CPU cooler. It has a tower heatsink, three 6 mm heatpipes and one 92 mm fan, supporting up to two fans. Let's see if this "compact" cooler performs well.
Aircooling
SilverStone is much more than Cases. In this review we look at their new SilverStone
AR01 CPU Cooler. The CPU Cooler is equipped with three 8 mm heat pipes with thin
aluminium fins.
Aircooling
We tested the SilverStone AR01 CPU cooler. It has a tower heatsink, three 8 mm heatpipes and one 120 mm fan, supporting up to two fans. With its conservative design, will it perform well? Let's see!
