While we love to bring you the latest reviews of products that have just come to market, sometimes we do need to take a step back and look at products that are already on the market and see why their products are having the success they are.

The stock cooler included with retail-packaged CPUs represents the manufacturer's best efforts to provide a cooler that will keep the processor within its temperature limits at stock clock speeds, all for the lowest cost. But if you want to overclock your system, you're going to need an aftermarket cooler. The ideal cooler would be inexpensive, quiet, easy to install, and keep your CPU icy cold under all loads and conditions. But of course, in the real world it's always a balancing act among these various parameters. CoolIT Systems' new ECO A.L.C. ECO-R120 CPU cooler aims to balance these requirements by offering an easy-to-install sealed liquid cooling system for your CPU. Using both stock and high-speed fans, Benchmark Reviews compares it to the top air coolers and the Corsair H50 liquid cooling system on an overclocked and overvolted Intel Core i7-920 processor.

Today for review I've got another CPU cooler, but this one is a bit special in that it's a liquid cooling system that's truly an all-in-one solution. It's called the ECO A.L.C. and it's from CoolIt. The ECO ALC is very small, and it's compatible with most every CPU out there. The pump is actually integrated into the water block that goes onto your CPU and the fan and radiator are attached to each other so all you've got to do is take a few minutes and install it like you would most other coolers out there. There's no fuss, no mess, no running tubing, it's ready to go out of the box, there's even thermal compound pre-applied so you don't even have to do that. I've put it up against a couple other air coolers for comparison so read on to see how it performs..

Today we get the chance to look at the OMNI A.L.C. for the first time and what better card to start with than the GeForce GTX 480, one which would very much benefit from aftermarket cooling. Can the Omni give us CoolIT's usual level of quality and provide performance that GTX 480 users have been looking for, let's find out...

The OMNI A.L.C. is an interesting no-maintenance GPU cooling solution from CoolIT; it features an interposer, which can be changed depending on the video card we are using, without the need to replace the whole product.

The CoolIT Systems Domino A.L.C. CPU cooler is quite an interesting concept. I like that more and more companies are designing compact, sealed units for the enthusiast. This makes it much more affordable for those who want to get into liquid cooling without the expense of having to know exactly what to buy. The fact that this is a completely sealed unit makes it that much nicer.

Last week we looked at the Vantage A.L.C. from CoolIT Systems, today we are looking at their ECO A.L.C. 240. This is the first sealed kit water cooler with a 240mm radiator we have seen here at Legit Reviews. The ECO C240 A.L.C. retails for $124.99 and includes retentions brackets for Intel 775, 1156, 1366 and AMD AM2, AM2+, and AM3 CPU sockets types. We look to see how it does on an Intel Core i7-930 processor at stock and overclocked speeds!

New for this year CoolIT introduces the ECO Advanced Liquid Cooling system, a simplified version of the Domino without the LCD control panel. Similar to other Asetek designs, such as the Corsair H50 and NorthQ Siberian Tiger, the CoolIT ECO system consists of a combination pump and block, a 120mm fan and heat exchanger and the tubing to connect them. Like the Domino, this pre-filled and self-contained system appears easy to install and maintain, and the target price keeps it affordable for the average user.

When I first got wind of the idea that CoolIT had to water cool a graphics card with their all in one system, I was eager to see what they had to offer. Well, it took a bit of waiting for CoolIT to make the correct plate for the card I test with, but as soon as they had one ready, I got news one was on the way to my house. To be blunt; I was giddy like a kid at Christmas in anticipation of this new arrival.
