Gegen Ende des letzten Jahres stellte Noctua mit dem NH-L9 einen neuen Low-Profile-Kühler vor. Mit den extrem kompakten Abmaßen und der damit einhergehenden, geringen Bauhöhe von lediglich 37 Millimetern, unterbietet der neuste Spross der Kühlerschmiede sogar den Intel-Boxed-Kühler deutlich. Damit offerieren die Österreicher eine platzsparende Alternative für HTPCs. Doch neben dem NH-L9 kann Noctua mit weiteren Top-Flow-Radiatoren aufwarten, die sich in allen Belangen deutlich unterscheiden Zu diesem Anlass nehmen wir nicht nur den Neuling selbst, sondern zwei weitere Top-Flow-Kühler der österreichischen Edelschmiede unter die Lupe.
Per tutti gli appassionati di modding e tuning del PC, oggi analizzeremo un prodotto molto particolare, che sulla carta permette una fine regolazione della gestione termica (e non solo) del nostro computer. Stiamo parlando del Corsair Link, ovvero di una unità che permette, tramite l’adozione di sensori di temperatura e di controller per ventole in serie, di impostare velocità di rotazione, profili di gestione termica ed anche, come vedremo, di avere un feedback visivo o una semplice personalizzazione tramite LED RGB. Corsair ci ha gentilmente spedito il kit top di gamma della serie e quindi lo analizzeremo sia sotto il punto di vista funzionale che strutturale. Oltre a questo, se non bastasse, abbiamo una sorpresa: verrà analizzato il modello Corsair H50 sulla piattaforma Intel LGA2011 Questo ci servirà come parametro di test per mostrare l’evoluzione dei modelli AIO a liquido, partendo dal primo di questo marchio, l’H50 appunto, fino al modello H100i, già recensito sul nostro portale. E’ probabile che non sia mai stato fatto fin d’ora da nessuna testata giornalistica, a livello mondiale, quindi sarà certamente interessante; precisiamo che ciò è possibile grazie all’installazione dell’ultima tipologia di bracket Asetek, acquistabili separatamente. Al fine dei test è stato utilizzato anche un Corsair H70 piuttosto datato per il quale potremo analizzare l’impatto del “tempo” e dell’usura sulle prestazioni.
The Evercool HPK-10025EA heatsink uses a simple arrangement of swagged aluminum fins over four 6mm diameter copper heatpipes, connected by a short distance to the CPU. The entire heatsink stands 65mm tall and weighs a feathery 320 grams. The four heatpipes are exposed at the base of the heatsink, which although now a common technique is a first for such a low profile heatsink. The stubby aluminum fins rest below an Arctic Cooling style, red 110mm fan that rotates at a moderately audible 1800RPM.
Glacialtech's Igloo 5751 PWM heatsink installs onto Intel socket 775/1156/1366 and AMD socket AM2/AM3 processors, and stands a little over 125mm tall. Weighing in at 550grams, the heatsinks' two fans sandwich a 31mm section of aluminum cooling fins which are supported over the processor on four 6mm diameter copper heatpipes. Exhaust airflow is directed downwards towards a small extruded aluminum heatsink and adjacent motherboard components.
Today we tested Thermaltake ISGC-100, a "small" horizontal cooler with three heatpipes and a 92-mm fan with a special fan blade design to reduce noise. But will its cooling performance be comparable to the performance of other coolers we tested recently?
