Nachdem wir bereits die beiden neusten Kühler von Alpenföhn in zwei Reviews ausführlich vorgestellt haben, folgt heute ein weiterer Test eines Kühlers von EKL. Obwohl der Gletscherspalte schon etwas älter ist, ist er der aktuelle Top-Flow-Kühler von Alpenföhn und dank neuem Montagematerial auch für die aktuellen Sockel verwendbar. Mit der Sandwich-Bauweise und sechs 6-mm-Heatpipes soll der Gletscherspalte für eine gute Kühlung des Prozessors sorgen. Ob dies gelingt, erfahrt ihr auf den folgenden Seiten.

GlacialTech has products in a few different areas of PC hardware, but one of their primary markets is in coolers. The F101 is supposedly inspired by the General Electric turbofan jet engine of the same name. Personally, I don't think this was the wisest of marketing decisions. After all, when I think of a jet engine, I think of an ear-shatteringly loud device that shoots a column of flame out of it's backside—not qualities I want to see in a CPU cooler. Luckily, nobody in marketing seems to be talking to the engineers, as the F101 is almost, but not quite, entirely unlike a jet engine.
It’s been a long time since I’ve reviewed any CPU Coolers here, so let’s just jump right back into it with one for the Corei5 Socket1156. Today I have the Noctua NH-U12P SE2 CPU Cooler for review. It’s essentially the same as the original NH-U12P but now is compatible with more socket types, including the 1156 Corei5 CPU. Noctua is well know for their products, the design, build quality and performance are all excellent. They’ve won many, many awards for their products, so it was natural that they come out with newer versions of their products for the newer CPUs and socket styles. Today for review I've got the massive Noctua NH-D14 CPU Cooler. I'm testing it on my Intel Corei5 750 CPU both at stock speeds and with an overclock. I don't have many other Socket1156 coolers on hand so I've put it up against two other Noctua coolers and one from Cooler Master for comparison.

The NH-U9B SE2 includes Noctua’s SecuFirm2 multisocket mounting system which allows this cooler to work with numerous socket configurations including: LGA1366, LGA1156, LGA775, AM2, AM2+ and AM3. Noctua built this CPU cooler around their highly regarded NH-U9 series of compact coolers. They also provide two 92mm NF-B9 fans with included Low-Noise and Ultra-Low-Noise-Adaptors. According to Noctua the two fans are designed to work best in a push-pull arrangement. Plus Noctua warranties this cooler for six years.
Coolermaster produce a lot of different products, from massively high end cases to low end budget coolers; and that's what we're looking at today. A little fella' called the Coolermaster Hyper 101.
