Glacialtech's Igloo 5710 Plus Silent is an economical low noise heatsink for Intel socket 775/1366 and AMD socket 939/AM2/AM3 processors. Produced by Taiwanese heatsink manufacturer Glacialtech, the Igloo 5710 Plus Silent is a straightforward CPU cooler, weighing 425 grams and built around a thin copper base, three copper heatpipes and a small tower of aluminum fins.
Thermaltake's ISGC-100 is a low profile low noise heatsink for small and compact PC chassis. Three 6mm diameter copper heatpipes ensure good thermal conduction from the base to the fins of the 70mm tall heatsink. A 92mm PWM fan scales in speed from 600-1600RPM, directing airflow down through the horizontal aluminum fins of the heatsink. In real world terms the ISGC-100 heatsink ranges from moderately audible to completely silent.
Obviously these are spectacular results. At no moment we reached critical temperatures, not even at 4GHz. This is truly remarkable since the Intel Core i7 920 can be run at 80°C – 85°C without risking anything.

Thermaltake's ISGC-300 is a lower noise tower heatsink that offers a slight performance edge over the companies ISGC-400 model. The saw-toothed aluminum cooling fins on the ISGC-300 are widely spaced to allow air from the single 120mm fan to pass through easily. Four 6mm diameter copper heatpipes ensure good thermal conduction from the base to the 95mm tower above. A small fan speed controller allows fan speed to be adjusted from 800-1300RPM for situations which demand the least noise possible.

The unique design of the Nirvana NV120 PWM heatsink sees a 120mm PWM fan set within the body of the heatsink. The translucent fan blades spin at speeds of between 1800-900RPM. Zerotherm's Core 92 heatsink is a compact Intel-only thermal solution designed for socket 775 Core 2 Duo, socket 1156 Core i5 and socket 1366 Core i7 processors. Standing just 121mm tall, the Core 92 heatsink weighs a modest 470 grams and has a rather atypical footprint of 103 x 93mm. The heatsink is equipped with a single 92mm PWM fan, sandwiched between its two columns of aluminum cooling fins.
