We're happy to say that based on the test results we have a new CPU cooler to add to our lists of favorites: the Thermalright True Spirit 140. When you compare it to the Gold Award winners from our large round-up, Thermalright has the best overall cooling performance and its noise production is on par with the rest.
The Noctua NF-S12A FLX, PWM, ULN Fans are outstanding and will fit the bill no matter what case cooling application you have. The FLX is a flexible fan for most applications. PWM stands for pulse width modulation and this fan has a 4pin connector. ULN stands for ultra low noise and it's near silent. All these fans perform well, are reliable & quiet.

Il dissipatore che verrà recensito è l’Akasa Venom Medusa; si contraddistingue per due ventole in dotazione ottime e potenti, una grande estetica, performance di livello ed un peso importante, con ma una struttura avanzata e moderna, oltre ad un montaggio facile e sistemi di ritenzione solidi. Scythe's Big Shuriken series has been the CPU cooler of choice for a lot of system builders who are opting for small form factor systems or HTPCs and need a low profile yet high performance CPU cooler. Scythe's original Big Shuriken was incredibly popular and so Scythe responded with the Big Shuriken 2 which adds another heat pipe and support for the X79 LGA 2011 platform. Today we are taking a look at this new Big Shuriken 2 from Scythe and seeing how it stacks up against other low profile CPU coolers. Measuring in at just 58mm high the main selling point of the Big Shuriken 2 is its height but Scythe are also looking to push the performance side of things with five 6mm heatpipes.
Overall performance was better than we had expected on a stock running Sandy Bridge. During this test the heatsink performed great with very little fan noise.

In the time between our last review and now they have brought many new products to market, as well as expanded their global reach. You can now find some of their products on mainstream US PC supply sites. Today we will be taking a close look at one of their most recently released products, the Gammaxx S40. Designed to bring big cooling in a small form factor, lets find out just how well DeepCool has been doing.
