Providing high performance cooling solutions over the last couple months, Raijintek has made a name for themselves in the CPU cooling segment. Now, the company is addressing the needs of GPU users with their Morpheus graphics cards cooler. Morpheus is designed to work on all recent graphics cards from AMD and NVIDIA, with the Radeon R9 290X being the prime candidate. AMD's R9 290X reference design is plagued by high temperatures and fan noise due to the way AMD designed the cooler. In order to solve these problems, the Raijintek Morpheus comes with a massive number of 12 heatpipes that cover a large area and use multiple slots to reduce temperatures without compromising on noise.
Although the traditional tower type CPU Air Coolers have reached their maximum possible cooling potential based on today’s technology that doesn't mean manufacturers are just going to give up in their pursue for something better. The Silent Spirit follows an open frame structure concept whereby both design and dimensions have been improved to eliminate humming and buzzing noises while maintaining a compact overall size. The 92mm fan has been chosen for silent operation and high airflow and comes with an intelligent PWM control to allow users to set the fan speed in their BIOS accordingly.
