A few weeks ago we received an email by one of you telling us that he didn't like the fact that the majority of our CPU Cooler reviews were about high and ultra-end models and not low-profile coolers designed primarily for HTPC use. So to clear this i will just say that it was never our intention to focus on a specific type of CPU Cooler but as some of you know the LGA1155 test system is not located in our lab (since aside the two LGA1366 and the one LGA2011 systems i don't own it) and ontop of that there aren't that many low-profile models in the market to begin with. Still since we don't want anyone feeling left out we have received three of the latest low-profile CPU Coolers to hit the stores and today we will start by taking a look at the Cooltek ITX30 Low-Profile CPU Cooler (Powered By Thermolab).
Nach dem Scythe Samurai ZZ HTPC Kühler widmen wir uns einem weiteren Vertreter in dieser Klasse. Neu hinzugekommen ist der CoolForce 2 Kühler von Cooltek. Mit drei 6mm Heatpipes und einem 100x15mm flachen Lüfter will man die leise Sparte der Wohnzimmer HTPCs in Angriff nehmen. Ob das Ergebnis zwischen Lautstärke und Leistung stimmig ist, steht im nachfolgenden Review.
Da der Markt für Luftkühler sehr umkämpft ist, hat auch PC-Cooling mit dem Cooltek CoolForce 1 ein Eisen im Feuer. Der Towerkühler ist mit 5 Heatpipes ausgestattet und nutzt zur Wärmeabfuhr das HDT-Verfahren. Dies soll für einen schnelleren Wärmeabtransport sorgen und somit auch für bessere Kühlleistung. Der CoolForce 1 ist im Gegensatz zu anderen Kühlern dieser Preisklasse mit zwei 120mm Lüftern ausgestattet. Coollaboratory bringt in kürze die Liquid Ultra Wärmeleitpaste in den Handel, den Nachfolger der Liquid Pro. Technic3D hat die Paste bereits seit dem Spätsommer 2009 in der Redaktion und zeigt erste Ergebnisse.

In the performed tests, it will go against two high-end CPU coolers, the Noctua NH-U12P SE2 and the NH-D14 monster and we'll see how it will perform.
Today for review I’ve got the CoolIt Vantage A.L.C. CPU Cooler. The Vantage is an all-in-one liquid cooler, it’s a closed loop system so the end-user doesn’t have to doing any kind of maintenance on it. I’ve put it up against the Noctua NH-U12P air cooler and while the Vantage doesn’t outperform it, it does well. So read on.
With the vast selection of coolers on the market today it is hard to know which model to purchase. Will an £18 Thermaltake Contac 29 do the job or do you really need to spend over £60 on a Noctua NH D14 ? To make matters even more confusing there are some ‘all in one’ liquid cooling solutions from Corsair and Coolit, which offer low noise levels and high performance with small CPU mounting blocks.
Today, CoolIT sent me the Vantage A.L.C. to have a look at and strap up to the T.E.C.C. for a bit of torture. Without giving too much away, just think ECO, lights, LCD readout, and hidden options yet to be seen. I know, I know; who wants to buy a cooler with options you can't use right? With the Vantage, this isn't the case at all. The cooler is fully functional as is and a blast to play around with and see just what fits my mood for the day.
When I first got wind of the idea that CoolIT had to water cool a graphics card with their all in one system, I was eager to see what they had to offer. Well, it took a bit of waiting for CoolIT to make the correct plate for the card I test with, but as soon as they had one ready, I got news one was on the way to my house. To be blunt; I was giddy like a kid at Christmas in anticipation of this new arrival.
