It’s been awhile since we introduced a DeepCool product and boy have they been busy in the meantime. If you don’t remember or never knew, DeepCool is a Shenzhen, China based company specializing in thermal solutions. While they have been in operation since 1996, they are just beginning to enter the mainstream US market for aftermarket cooling. Of course since they are suppliers to Dell, Fujitsu, Siemens, Osram, and others there is a good chance that you have actually used some of their products in the past. In the time between our last review and now they have brought many new products to market, as well as expanded their global reach. You can now find some of their products on mainstream US PC supply sites. Today we will be taking a close look at one of their most recently released products, the Gammaxx S40. Designed to bring big cooling in a small form factor, lets find out just how well DeepCool has been doing.

The Frio OCK is one of Thermaltake’s most popular CPU coolers. The CPU cooler features a dual-tower heatsink design with 6 copper heatpipes and a very large copper CPU block. It comes with a removable shroud that has 2 large 130mm cooling fans attached to it. The fans have a VR fan knob that allows you to adjust the fan speeds. The FRIO OCK is compatible with all Intel sockets up to 2011 and AMD up to AM3. If you bought this cooler before Intel’s 2011 socket was released they will send you the 2011 installation hardware for free. Many people own this CPU cooler and we have been asked many times about the installation of the CPU cooler. So we have decided to make a video showing you how to install the Frio OCK. Read on to check it out.

Today we are back again with another multi-heatpipe CPU cooler, this time from one of the larger names in performance cooling. Gelid Solutions has been around since 2008 and have proven themselves to be manufactures of quality cooling products and accessories. Slated for the test bench is The Black Edition, a seven heatpipe air cooler that promises both quiet operation and high end performance. Will this cooler be able to stand up to our tests and impress or be relegated to the bottom self and forgotten? Let’s find out.

The long wait has finally ended. Sapphire finally delivers the Vapor-X CPU cooler for its world debut. We're a bit late to the game, but with good reason.

The Akasa Venom heatsink stands 160mm tall and weighs just over 800grams. It's built around four 8mm diameter copper heatpipes and raw aluminum cooling fins. The Venom ships with a fancy nuclear yellow fan called the 'S-Flow' that spins at 600-1900RPM, moving around 83CFM according to the manufacturer. A single fan is all the Venom heatsink really needs, but Akasa have provided mount points and additional rubber vibration absorbing mounting posts for a second fan if you wish to install one on each side. Akasa's Venom heatsink installs onto Intel socket 775/1155/1156/1366 and AMD socket 754/939/940/AM2/AM3 processors.

The Gelid GX-7 heatsink stands 158mm tall and ships with a variable speed PWM fan internally illuminated by several very bright blue LEDs. The lights make a nice impression on the spinning blue fan blades which feature novel little 'wing tips'. Beyond that, the GX-7 would look like any other tower format heat sink except for one trick up its sleeve - stacked heatpipes.
