Xigmatek hat ja gerade in der letzten Zeit den einen oder anderen Kühler auf den Markt gebracht. Nun haben wir das Vergnügen einmal den Göttlichen Hammer von Thor zu testen. Der Towerkühler arbeitet dabei mit der H.D.T - Technik welches bei der Leistung deutliche Vorteile bringen sollte. Die Anordnung der Kühllamellen macht optisch schon mal einen sehr guten Eindruck. Auch das man an diesem Kühler gleich zwei 12 mm Lüfter gleichzeitig montieren kann, kommt nicht alle Tage vor. Evercool are a very large manufacturer for cooling products. Unfortunately though, Tech-Reviews is still unfamiliar with them and so, our expectations are a bit mixed. But by priding themselves as one of the top 5 cooling manufacturers in Taiwan, our expectations from their products are certainly high. Let’s see if the Evercool Rifling Fan proves itself worthy.
Noctua is one of our favorite cooling brands as most of their products are well made and come with promising performance. Today we will take a quick look on their latest product; NF-S12B which is the next generation of quiet fan featuring with Noctua's advanced SCD2 technology and highly optimized blade geometry.
There are numerous options out there for cooling your case. The last I checked everyone and their mother had a fan that was meant to “optimize” the effective cooling by having different blade shapes, or floating magnetic movement opposed to ball bearing movement. And then there are sizes... LOTS of sizes. Everyone's fan is better than anyone else's, and the world of cooling has been revolutionized by simply changing the shape of a plastic blade and punching a few holes here and there. Kind of makes you wonder what, if anything, is changed about such minor alterations.
Remember when UV first became popular? I must have spent my entire McDonald's salary tricking out my case with every UV light I could get my hands on. My PC glowed like a street racer. It was in its own movie. I eventually moved out of the UV phase and into the LED era, where I remain even today. It seems a little more conserved to me. But UV is still popular, and today's review is living proof. But this fan is much more than just a glow recipient.
Despite the number of reviews we have published on this site in the last few years we occasionally come across a company whose products we have never used or tested. Evercool are one such company and when they offered two of their very reasonably priced air coolers for review we were more than happy to see what this company could offer.
