The Spire Swirl III CPU Air Cooler stands out and is nickel plated. It has 45 aluminum fins, 3 heatpipes, smooth base, 60mm LED fan & fits current Intel and AMD sockets. While this cooler isn't big on performance, it does much better than the stock cooler at default speeds.

This little heatsink from Zalman is called the CNPS2X and it looks like it should be found on an entry level videocard, motherboard chipset or possibly a miniITX motherboard. It is small. To give an idea of how small, the impeller from a 120mm fan is larger than this entire heatsink.

Raijintek are a new comer to the PC market and while we have known of their presence for a while it’s only in the last few months that they’ve been bringing products to market. The Ereboss CPU cooler is just one sample of their range and the company intends to launch chassis products also, one of which we even saw at this years Gamescom in Cologne.
Picking the right CPU cooler can be tricky, especially in the low and mid budget price ranges. Finding the right balance of cost vs the performance you want to achieve can be tricky and with so many options on the market from many big, established manufacturers it may be hard for Raijintek to find a place. The Ereboss is Raijinteks answer to the budget friendly end of the market, those looking to get solid performance without spending too much money.
With a price tag £31.99 the Ereboss is affordable and as you can see from the specifications below it packs plenty of support.

A different idea of what notebook cooling should be hits our labs. Let's see how Evercool and its Carry NB-EC01 stacks up against the competition.

A few weeks ago we received an email by one of you telling us that he didn't like the fact that the majority of our CPU Cooler reviews were about high and ultra-end models and not low-profile coolers designed primarily for HTPC use. So to clear this i will just say that it was never our intention to focus on a specific type of CPU Cooler but as some of you know the LGA1155 test system is not located in our lab (since aside the two LGA1366 and the one LGA2011 systems i don't own it) and ontop of that there aren't that many low-profile models in the market to begin with. Still since we don't want anyone feeling left out we have received three of the latest low-profile CPU Coolers to hit the stores and today we will start by taking a look at the Cooltek ITX30 Low-Profile CPU Cooler (Powered By Thermolab).

When building a brand new computer choosing the right components is directly tied to the type of use ment for it so obviously you wouldn't use the same ones you'd use with the office system as you would with the one in your living room. Needless to say the same applies for the CPU cooler since a gaming oriented system would need one with a much higher cooling efficiency compared to that of an office system or even a HTPC. The downside however with really powerful CPU coolers is their massive size so if you wanted to place one inside a mITX/mATX case chances are you'd be out of luck. Well manufacturers know this all too well so for the past 2-3 years many of them have focused a lot in the design of compact CPU coolers with impressive cooling potential (for their size always). Noctua has already released several such models in the market but with their latest NH-D9L D-Type Tower Cooler they seem to be taking things one step further.

PC is getting higher end nowadays and with that noise will be gradually increased as well; one of the most efficiency ways to reduce the noise will be the fan speed controller. After we have reviewed Lamptron latest fan speed controller; FC-2, today we will continue to review another kind of fan speed controller from them; FAN-ATIC 5-Port Military Switch Baybus.

All Noctua products use their familiar Blue-Brown and beige color palette, keeping in line with their renowned fans. To go with its easily identifiable box is all the necessary information you need, such as sizing charts and package contents, but you can forget about that as you can be damn sure Noctua added all you needed and then some.
