Evercool has updated their 10025EA cooler to support both AMD and Intel socket 1156 processors with the HPKC-10025EA. With a low profile, adjustable mounting brackets and easy installation the HPKC-10025EA may have a hard to remember name but it makes a great option to replace that stock cooler.

Over the past decades, technology has rapidly evolved. From legacy typewriters and paper to modern day keyboards and Microsoft's Office suite, the way we work has changed dramatically. This goes without saying that human attitudes towards technology have also evolved. From the typical 1990's "Can I use your old-school desktop, dad?" to the modern day setting of having one or more computers for everyone in the family, an increasing amount of people are becoming more obsessed with possessing their own personal electronic devices. Let's put it this way: Can you name the last high school kid who doesn't even know what half the parts in their computers do, and yet is now attempting to build their own system? Yeah, I can name quite a few. In general, everyone wants the latest and greatest, especially when it comes to computers. What I have specifically noticed in this area is the competition between people when it comes to processors. Some swear by Core i5s, which becomes surprisingly competitive against LGA 1156 Intel Core i7 processors once overclocked. But when it comes to CPUs, many other factors also come into play. This includes one of the biggest elements -- heat. Overclocking with increased voltage would introduce a large amount of heat, and your stock heatsink isn't necessarily designed to handle all the extra thermal energy. This is why many computer enthusiasts invest in aftermarket CPU cooling. These can range from a small price tag on value oriented units, to more bank-account-demanding high performance units like the Noctua NH-D14. Following up on Arctic Cooling, they claim to have produced a heatsink that is able to cool mid-range to higher end processors at a mere $35 price tag at press time. Compatible with Intel sockets 1366, 1156, and 775, as well as AMD sockets AM3, AM2+, AM2, 939, and 754, what we have here in our labs is the company's latest creation -- the Freezer 13. Being a proud owner of an LGA 1366 Intel Core i7 processor, I feel most excited to get my hands on one of these today for the review. Read on to see if this heatsink is worth your while!

In this review Frostytech is testing the Apack Zerotherm ZT-10D, a dark nickel plated tower heatsink that is capable of mounting one or two 120mm fans in a push-pull configuration. Taking a page out of the Thermalright handbook, the Zerotherm ZT-10D does not include a fan of its own. You must supply your own. Standing 160mm tall, the Zerotherm ZT-10D heatsink somehow manages to squeeze in six 8mm diameter heatpipes, packed edge-to-edge at the copper base plate and piercing the nickel plated fins in small arc.

Vor einigen Wochen haben Arctic Cooling einen neuen VGA Kühler aus der Extreme Serie vorgestellt, den Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme Plus. Auch wenn man optisch nichts Neues bieten kann, bleiben die VGA Kühler immer ein Highlight. Beim Xtreme Plus hat man eher mehr an der Erweiterung der Kompatibilität gearbeitet, was unserer Meinung nach ein wichtiger Faktor ist. Wir haben uns den Kühler auf einer GTX460 etwas genauer angesehen.

Today I’ve got a quick review for you of a great little product from Kingston called the HyperX Fan. We know Kingston makes good ram, and now they’ve come out with a fan to help keep it cool. Cooler is better for anything, but especially when you’re overclocking. The HyperX fan can mean the difference between success and failure or stability for your ram. Even if you’re not overclocking though, your system can benefit from it. The fans blow air on the ram and the surrounding areas as well, so it offers to help airflow within your case.

Scythe's Rasetsu heatsink stands out because of a mixture of acute and obtuse isosceles triangular voids cut into the leading and trailing edges of the heatsinks aluminum fins. It's a technique Scythe label the "Trident Multi Layer Fin Structure" and the point of it is to maximize air intake volume. Mit dem Archon leitet Thermalright die vierte Runde im Wettkampf um die Spitzenplätze der Kühler-Charts ein. Sowohl im Bereich der Grafikkarten, wo der Shaman sehr gute Werte ablieferte, als auch bei den CPU-Kühlern, in Form des Silver Arrow und des HR-02, wurden in den letzten Wochen mehrere Spitzenkühler vorgestellt. Allen gemein war die sehr gute Performance und teilweise auch das Novum mit Lüfter ausgeliefert zu werden. Mit dem Archon kommt nun ein weiterer Kühler auf den Markt, welcher von Hause aus mit dem TY-140 ausgestattet ist. Dieser soll dem sehr schmalen Tower-Kühler ebenfalls zu starken Leistungen verhelfen, der Kühler soll dabei aber deutlich weniger Platz beanspruchen als die beiden bereits genannten Vertreter. Wie sich der Archon schlägt und ob er die Erwartungen erfüllen kann, die wir in ihn stecken, erfahrt ihr auf den folgenden Seiten.

Not too long ago, I took a look at the Noctua NH-U9B SE2. Today I am going to compare that to the Arctic Freezer 13 from Arctic Cooling. Arctic has long been known for their cooling products, but has also branched out into peripherals as of late. Taking a look at one of their core products, the Freezer 13, should make for a nice comparison against the recently reviewed Noctua heatsink.
