Aftermarket cooling products is a massive market with numerous companies fighting for enthusiast money. Akasa is one of the companies fighting for position in this overcrowded market. Back in October of 2010 we looked at their original Venom cooler and today we are going to check out the new Akasa Venom Voodoo.

Last month we looked at the Xigmatek MidGard II chassis and today we are featuring another product from Xigmatek, the Venus XP-SD1266 CPU Cooler. The Venus XP-SD1266 has a nickel coated copper base and features six 6mm heatpipes to draw heat away from the processor. This tower style cooler relies on a single 120mm fan to move the air through the aluminum fins. The fan that XIGMATEK have chosen for the Venus XP-SD1266 has a CFM rating of 90.3 CFM when operating at full speed.

It was only four years ago when Prolimatech was founded and the company initially offered only a single CPU cooler, the Megahalems. That single cooler however was good enough to make Prolimatech famous among enthusiast cycles and allow the company to establish a good foothold in the industry. Today we will examine and review something new and different from Prolimatech, the Lynx. The Lynx is not a massive cooler designed to win over hardcore enthusiasts but an entry-level cooler, primarily designed to compete against other basic products and replace the stock CPU coolers. The specifications of the Lynx however are very interesting considering this is meant to be compact, simple and cheap CPU cooler; we will soon see just how many surprises this product holds.

The Prolimatech Panther is the first CPU cooler from Prolimatech that features four heat pipes! The Panther was designed to provide effective cooling with a design that requires just one 120x120x25mm PWM fan. Read on to see how the Prolimatech Panther performs on our Intel Core i5-2500K processor at stock speeds and when overclocked up to 4.8GHz!

Today we are going to look at the latest addition to their CPU cooler range, the Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 2 which is a refreshed version of the existing Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro which we reviewed here. This replaces the old model as the flagship of the Be Quiet! range with a few updates including an improved mounting system and larger fans.

Today we are taking a look at the Alpenföhn Matterhorn PURE CPU cooler, a competitively priced mid range cooler for those who seek high performance at low cost. In enthusiast circles Alpenföhn have already earned a reputation for solid build quality and striking aesthetics.

The Prolimatech Genesis is not your typical twin tower cooler as there is one vertical tower and one horizontal tower. The hybrid lay out allows the fans on the horizontal tower to act as a downdraft cooler and cool the RAM and motherboard components around the CPU. The vertical cooling tower looks like it should cool well as there are not many bends in the heatpipes, but the horizontal heatpipes have an 'S' bend in them. Usually the fewer bends you have the better, so we can't wait to test this monster out!

Today we are going to look at the PH-TC14CS CPU cooler from Phanteks. It’s clear that there are a few key design similarities with the PH-TC14PE but the fundamental design of the cooler is very different. The PH-TC14CS uses a C-shaped heatpipe design so that the fans can blow downwards towards the CPU socket.
