Prolimatech has also released a new version of the Megahalems. It is a Megahalems that has been covered with a beautiful black nickel plate and sports LGA 1156 hardware so it will fit every enthusiast Intel CPU built in the past five years or so. Mit dem Kama Cross stellte Scythe Anfang 2008 einen Kühler vor, welcher optisch vieles anders machte als die anderen Kühler. So besaß der Kühler die sogenannte "X Struktur", welche nicht nur für eine gute Belüftung des Kühlers sondern auch für die darum liegenden Komponenten sorgen sollte. Auch die Montage eines 100-mm-Lüfters war nicht alltäglich, dieser konnte bei Bedarf auch gegen einen größeren 120-mm-Lüfter getauscht werden. Jetzt, knapp zwei Jahre später, ist der Nachfolger des Sonderlings erschienen. Mit einer leicht veränderten Lamellenform, neuem Lüfter und bewährtem Konzept soll der Kühler sich in die Reihe der Top-Kühler von Scythe einreihen.
