NZXT have made a name for themselves in the enthusiast community already through products like the Phantom, showing that they understand what power users want and need in their PC components. Today we'll be evaluating their first stab at another key area of performance PC building, the CPU cooler. The Havik 140 builds on existing design trends in air cooling, while adding NZXT's own take on things. Read on to see how this cooler performs.
The max cooling capacity of the Arctic Cooling Freezer 13 Pro heatsink is listed at 300 Watts by the manufacturer; far, far and away beyond the heat output of any desktop processor. This time around Arctic have released a tower-style heatsink standing 159mm tall and weighing 893 grams. The CPU cooler comes with a small 50mm fan mounted to the baseplate in addition to a primary 120mm fan that rotates at 1350-900RPM.

We just got done looking at a notebook cooling solution with the NotePal U Stand. This is quite the laptop cooler; it offers all sorts of bells and whistles like extra USB ports and even a fully adjustable top to give you five angles to be able to use your laptop of choice. It's aluminum has great fans. NZXT is a rather new contender to the cooling market, with just in the past year's time releasing both a new fan series and a new CPU cooler. Today I've had a chance to look at and extensively use their new FX-120LB, FX-140LB & FS-200LB-RLED fans.
