Too much attention is paid to the CPU when we discuss aftermarket coolers, maybe because removing the VGA cooler can void the warranty on some graphics cards, or maybe because we take for granted the cooler placed on video cards by the vendor. Unfortunately the truth is that most stock VGA coolers don't perform very well. So now we need a solution - The Xigmatek BiFrost VD1065 - Xigmatek's first 5-piece 6mm Heatpipe Direct Touch VGA cooler product. It occupies two expansion slots, but at the same time gives extreme performance. Ximatek adds two powerful 100mm Fans to accomplish the "Perfect Product", and plate it with black nickel and utilise two transparent fans so as to become one of the spotlights in your PC-System. With the marketing speak out of the way, we'll move on to what it takes to make or br! eak this product - real world testing. We all know H.D.T. works well for multi-core processors with heat spreaders, join Benchmark Reviews as we test the Xigmatek Bifrost and see what it can do for your exposed GPU die.

Today for review I’ve got something a little different from Thermaltake. The company is known for their cooling products and it’s usually about cooling your PC components and notebooks, but now they’ve introduced one that’s about cooling you. The Mobile Fan 12 is a 120mm fan with a built-in stand and fan speed controller that’s all powered by the USB port on your laptop or netbook, or even your desktop PC.

If you're overclocking your CPU, you're going to need a better cooler than the one that shipped with your CPU. There are many aftermarket alternatives, but enthusiasts know that Thermalright's products should always be on their short list. The problem is the high-performance coolers can cost quite a lot, with prices of more than $75 for top-end air coolers and well over $100 for good all-in-one water coolers. Thermalright tries to address this problem with the Macho HR02 cooler, which they pitch as their "mainstream enthusiast" product. At an MSRP of $39.95, it comes in well under most high performance coolers, but will its performance match theirs? Benchmark Reviews puts this product to the test.

Everyone has a portable computer of some kind, whether it is a notebook or netbook. They range in many different sizes but the overall idea is generally the same. Some are more aimed towards the business user, whilst some are focussed on home use and others are geared towards the extreme gamer offering unparalleled performance in a small form factor design.

New companies are few and far between these days. When we tend to see a "new company" in a particular market it tends to be an existing company expanding its portfolio, like when EVGA moved into the CPU cooler market.
However, we've started working with a company who genuinely are new to the scene. Reeven are an Asian based cooling company who make CPU coolers, fan controllers and fans. Until recently we had never heard of them and currently find their products are very hard to buy as very few western retailers actually stock them. After finding Reeven products listed on the Scythe Japan website, I believe that Reeven are in some way affiliated to Scythe - but I am not quite sure how.

When you are building a home theater PC or small form factor PC it is really hard to find a CPU cooler that will not only fit, but provide adequate cooling as well. We know Noctua for making extremely large CPU coolers, some of the largest air coolers that we have seen actually. Today we are checking out one of their latest CPU coolers the NH-L12. What is interesting about it is that it is a low-profile cooler made for home theater PC’s and smaller systems. Will this cooler still provide the great cooling power we are used to seeing with Noctua CPU coolers? Read on to find out!
