Xigmatek's Aegir CPU cooler does indeed bring a lot to the party. With excellent cooling performance and a robust, yet easily installed mounting solution, this cooler ranks at the top of its class. White LEDs in the fan frame add a bit of visual interest to the smoky, PWM fan and will fit nicely into many color schemes for the enthusiast thet cares about this sort of thing.

Antec has been in the business for a long time. In fact, they are celebrating their silver anniversary. That's right, Antec brings twenty-five years of experience to the table! With this sort of history, they know a good idea when they see one, and of course they saw what all the rage is in all-in-one water cooling loops. Corsair and CoolIt have made good amounts of money off of this concept, and now Antec figures it is time for their share of the market. I assume this is where the call went over to Asetek from Antec.

Hello, today I‘ve got another CPU cooler for review. It’s the Transformer 4 from Evercool, and it’s huge but it performs very well. This cooler is one of the best I’ve tested lately and it’s also one of the quietest as well. The Transformer 4 can be a bit tricky to install, and if you have large style ram in your computer it might not fit at all. Anyway, read on to learn more…

Deepcool has hit the intended mark again. The Ice Matrix Pro triumphs above its contenders with four heat pipes, 47 aluminum fins, and a single 120mm fan. The well-constructed base also contributes to the heat sinks exceptional performance. And who wouldn’t give an aesthetically pleasing CPU heat sink a second look?

Right about the middle of this past February, I got a random email from a company rep. asking if we wanted to take a look at their new cooler. The mail came from a company named AURAS Technologies. The name rang a bell, but I had to Google the company to get to the bottom of why I had a memory of that company name. What I was able to piece together is that they make not only most of the OEM and ODM coolers on the market, there are even a few coolers they produce that I recognized right away that get sold under other manufacturers names. If a company like AURAS Tech. can keep all the major players in the brand name game interested, they have to be doing something right!

The Arctic NC is no doubt a nice product as you’d expect from Arctic. It does a decent job at cooling down a hot laptop. Its lightweight construction allows it to be portable which is always a plus. However, I am not a fan of the ergonomics of how it works. The need to rest just part of your laptop on it makes for a very unstable set-up; it has to be used on a flat surface and with care to prevent disaster.
