Phanteks was founded from a group of engineers with a total of 20 years of international experience in thermal solutions. They paired up with a Dutch design team and established Phanteks in 2007. When buying a set of case fans for your much loved rig, there are always two important factors which need to be considered: airflow and noise. Unfortunately it’s very rare to find a fan which truly performs greatly in both these requirements. However one such company, Noiseblocker, has designed the ‘XLP’ – a fan which boasts to meet both these demands. While the G9T is certainly serviceable around the home environment, I'm a bit troubled by Titans choice of materials and some of the design features. Starting with the cooling pad itself, the thin aluminum veneer doesn't do much to strengthen the plastic construction, and the thin metal clips, designed to stiffen the unit when deployed, don't inspire much confidence.
