The Crucial MX200 is yet another in the many steps that Crucial has taken on over the past few generations, their SSD lines building slowly upon the last since their first release so long ago. Replacing their M4, the M500 introduced a plethora of new features such as hardware encryption, data path protection, and power loss protection. The higher performing M550 built upon the M500 by introducing a newer controller and had faster performance. And when released just last summer, the MX100 built upon the M500 series design and introduced 128Gbit 16nm NAND to take our Top Value award with ease.

It is hard to get too excited about a card reader, but the FCR-HS4 is definitely a nice one. While I typically prefer these kind of things to be compact for portability and so I can hide them away in a drawer, since I have been using this one I leave it right out on my desk. It sits nicely under my monitor and gives me quick access to all of my cards without having to go hunting. It looks good, stays put nicely, and as the testing showed it performs very well.

Patriot Blast 240GB SSD Review @ NikKTech
Storage
It's been close to two years since we last took a look at a SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) memory card. At that time, SDHC was just beginning to be implemented into consumer devices and thus, support was pretty scarce. Like any new technology, it was only a matter of time before it caught on with the masses. Fast-forward to today, where SDHC has made a successful transition, effectively replacing the older SD format and has become the most popular memory card format. Capacity has also increased, with SDHC cards currently available up to 32GB in size. Today we will be taking a look at a slightly smaller card in the OCZ Gold Series 8GB SDHC Memory Card.

For this review I will be looking at a laptop hard drive
caddy. However this is a caddy that comes with a bit of extra security
in the form of a fingerprint scanner. The caddy in question is from
Sandberg, who I must confess I have heard very little about before
this review, and the caddy is from their AluGear range.

The Seagate Momentus 7200.3 laptop hard drive offers the an even combination of high performance, capacity and mobility in a 2.5-inch drive. The 320GB version that LR is looking at today is ideal for mainstream and performance-class laptops, small form factor PCs and many other small or mobile environments where performance and size are critical.

The Super Talent UltraDrive ME adds 64MB of Elpida DRAM to the buffer has permanently solved stuttering problems, making raw performance the last bottleneck. An Indilinx 'Barefoot' internal controller commands the bank of Samsung K9HCG08U1M DRAM modules, allowing the UltraDrive ME SSD to offer an impressive capacity with top-speed performance. Benchmark Reviews tests the reaction time and bandwidth performance for the FTM28GX25H 120GB model against over two dozen other products in this article.

With so little internal storage on some netbooks, adding a SDHC card let’s you do even more by giving you more space to install applications and store data. SanDisk recently came out with an 8GB and 16GB Netbook SDHC Card series and we put the 16GB card to test in an ASUS Eee PC 900 netbook that originally came with an 4GB SSD.
