EDGE Tech Corporation has been a manufacturer of peripheral computer hardware for two decades, but only recently have they offered enthusiast storage solutions. New for 2011, the EDGE Boost Pro SSD offers SATA 6GB/s transfer speeds using the latest second-generation SandForce SF-2200 solid state controller technology. When we last looked at SSDs in June it was clear that they had reached a place where there were three main controller manufacturers; Intel, Indilinx and Samsung. One of the initial pioneers of the technology, JMicron, had not released a new generation of controllers which could compete with these three.
