I remember a time when in the market you could only find USB flash drives by a handful of companies (the well-established ones) so it didn't really take more than just a few minutes for you to pick the one you liked the most especially since all their performance levels were nearly identical (and if by some miracle a really faster model got released well you immediately knew which one it was). Today things have changed massively and so if you walk to the USB flash drive section of pretty much any store you will find a large number of models from an equally large number of manufacturers making it quite hard to pick the right one for the job (providing of course you don't just care about the size or looks). That being said the sheer number of USB flash drive models currently in the market makes it impossible for us to test all of them in order to make it easier for all of you to know what it is that you are really getting with your hard earned money but giving up is not in our vocabulary so today we will be taking yet another thorough look at one such device the Blaze B20 32GB USB 3.0 flash drive by Silicon Power.

Thecus took a great NAS and made it even better with the N3200 Pro. It's difficult to tell it apart from the original N3200 just by looking at it, because underneath the hood is where all the upgrades have taken place. During testing, RAID 5 build time was impressive and transferring files with the Pro model is faster when compared to its predecessor.

Today we review the OCZ Synapse cache SSD drive; you may be wondering why the name cache has been included in the title of this specific drive, well this is because unlike most SSD drives of which are primarily used as your main drive and used only to install Windows. The OCZ Synapse Cache SSD drives purpose is to upgrade your current system, specifically your current hard drive...

We've taken a look at a handful of drives from Kingston's V and V+ Series of solid state drives, and this time around we actually have the smallest capacity drive on hand. This 30GB drive is intended for use as a boot drive, meaning you load your operating system and core programs to it, and use a second drive for file storage.

SanDisk brings another consumer friendly SSD to the market. This four-channel controlled drive should hit a very low price point and the programming should keep it very quick.

When it comes to all of these new devices such as tablets and Ultrabooks is that they do have a limited storage space. Whenever I am on the road or traveling I always have a portable hard drive with me. It gives me that extra storage space when I need it. Today we are taking a look at one of ADATA’s USB 3.0 portable hard drives. The DashDrive HV610 not only has a large capacity up to 1TB and super fast USB 3.0 transfer speeds it also has a cool cover that doubles as a holder for the USB 3.0 cable. Let’s see if this is the perfect portable hard drive to add to your travel bag.

It seems like only yesterday when OCZ debuted the original Vertex drive complete with then little known Indilinx engineered controller. Those drives flew off the shelves and helped put OCZ on the SSD map. For the fourth generation Vertex, Indilinx is back, this time proprietary to only OCZ and ready to take on all comers. Just how does it stack up with the likes of Intel and Samsung? Have a look to see what we found!

Intel has refreshed their SSD line with the release of the 335 Series that, while still using the SF-2281 controller, throws something new into the mix with their 20nm NAND flash. How this impacts performance is exactly what we set out to see in addition to giving our overall impressions of the drive and see if it's worthy of your hard earned dollars.
