Today I have the Cirago 250GB Portable USB Hard Drive for review. The CST5250 is one of the smallest 2.5” external hard drives I’ve come across, making it very portable, but portable doesn’t mean much if it doesn’t perform well. The CST5250 is also nicely made, it has a metal housing so it should be able to endure a bit of daily abuse and the metal should help keep it cooler as well.

Not to go on and on about the web interface- as much as I dislike it, I digress. The N0503 is packed with features, and it is flexible. The N0503 is fast- there is no doubt about that and even in RAID 5 it manages to sustain some excellent numbers. For a three drive NAS, or five 2.5″ drive NAS the N0503 happens to fall into the more expensive side of things, but alas is the nature of performance hardware.

Aus der Ferne haben wir das Thema Solid State Disk lange Zeit etwas skeptisch verfolgt, aber nach den anfänglichen kaum vermeidbaren Irritationen, kann man die Popularität dieser Materie keineswegs mehr ignorieren und somit war die Basis für unser erstes SSD Roundup geschaffen, die zunächst einmal aus gründlicher Recherche bestand.
