The TR4UT from Sans Digital is a strong contender in the external storage market. With four drive bays supporting up to 8TB of storage, both home and small business users alike can easily back up important files using USB or the newer, faster eSATA interface. Top it all off with tool-free installation, fast performance and quiet operation, and you have yourself an external storage unit that is hard to beat.

Today for review I’ve got another product courtesy of our friends at Brando USB, it’s another USB 3.0 product but this one is a hard drive dock. Personally I like HDD docks quite a bit, they’re much more useful than enclosures because they’re so much easier to use. The one I have for review today though is from Unitek, and it’s your basic dock that can accommodate 3.5” or 2.5 hard drives, but of course it’s special because it’s USB 3.0 capable. So read on to learn more..

Today's review will cover the NAS2XU2 NAS adapter from Addonics, which turns any USB hard drive into a network attached storage device. It's a small, very portable device that also provides a DHCP server, FTP server, Xbox 360 media server, and more. Time to take it for a test run.

The specifications Corsair has listed for the Force Series 100GB SSD drive are 285MB/s read and 275MB/s write which is well above the 260MB/s read/write specified by Sandforce. Pretty high expectations are being set by Corsair. We put it through our battery of benchmarks to see if they can deliver.

When it comes to USB Flash drives there are a dizzying array of sizes, colors and shapes with performance that generally runs from downright atrocious to decent. Corsair would like to sit a top of the performance end of things and are making a bid to do so with their line of Flash Voyager GTR thumb drives. Read on to see how their flagship USB 2.0 drive does in the benchmarks!

This handy offering from Kingwin showcases one of the easiest and fastest ways to access a hard drive. Just pop the drive into the dock, attach the USB cable and power cord, and turn it on.

Out of nowhere the SandForce label went from being associated with a good product that is going to cost an arm and a leg, to a great product that is not only the fastest on the market, but has a reasonable cost, too. When looking at the benchmarks we see that there really isn’t a whole lot of difference between testing with the Microsoft and Intel drivers, but it is enough to surpass Crucial’s C300 in most real world performance categories. Just like the old saying, second place is the first loser; the SF-1200 controlled products were now holding the top honors and something to get excited about.

Today, I have one of Cirago’s newest external hard drive models for review. It is a 1.5TB plug and play drive that operates with USB 2.0. It is simplistic, effective and very easy to use.

When the G.Skill Phoenix 100GB drive arrived I was a bit surprised by the timing since the Falcon and Falcon II were some of the first Indilinx and Indilinx ECO drives we tested and found for sale. As always, I wanted to take a look at the new drive, but in the back of my mind I was thinking that the Phoenix would be just another run of the mill, Team SandForce product. To back that up I took a look at G.Skill's product page and sure enough, nothing special was listed and the specs sheet gave us the same impression.
