Having had a look again recently at some mid range ATI cards, it's time to have a look at another. In this case it's the HD 5670 from AXLE. Sitting between the HD 5570 and HD 5750, the model was designed for people who don't quite need the power on offer from the HD 5700 series, but need a little more than the HD 5500.

Multi-monitor gaming was thought to be reserved for those who can afford massive setups, fortunately ATI has released a sub $100 card that can dish out multi-monitor gaming for all of you that want in on the action but don't want to spend the big bucks to do it.

The RADEON HD 5670 from AMD represents a very nice addition to the 5xxx series, features DirectX11 support and does not need an extra power connector to function. The card was aimed from the beginning against the GT 240 from Nvidia, let us find out if it stands a chance

The idea of running multiple monitors for gaming has been a fantasy for games since gaming first came out. In the PC gaming world it has taken a long time to realize the full potential of the GPU and the limitation put on them from a single monitor setup. The amount of pixel pushing power in today's GPU has been screaming for a multi-display setup.

For this review I will be looking at a product that comes from PowerColor and the product of theirs I will be looking at is the PCS++ Radeon HD5770. Having recently looked at the PowerColor PCS+ HD5550 here at XtremeCompting I am expecting something good from this review.

The NVIDIA GTX 460 is quickly establishing itself as the graphics card to beat in its price segment. The reconfigured Fermi architecture gives the card a real edge in gaming performance. With 1/3 fewer transistors to feed, it uses less power, runs cooler, and overclocks extremely well on air. With that kind of capability baked into the design, it didn't take long for NVIDIA's partners to start releasing overclocked editions. EVGA is one of the top AIC vendors for NVIDIA products, with a well established and loyal customer base. Their latest GTX460 video card is an SC (Superclocked) model that takes the reference design and pumps it up to 763 MHz. Benchmark Reviews takes a comprehensive look inside the EVGA GeForce GTX460 SC 01G-P3-1372-TR and then runs it through a full test suite. Read on if you want to see how this EVGA Superclocked edition performs and then watch as we push it even further with EVGA Precision and OC Scanner software.

Jump forward to the GTX 460 and overclocking became a huge part of the model. Every model we've tested to date has been overclocked out of the box, and most by a fairly good margin. Getting down and dirty with MSI Afterburner, you really had the chance to achieve even more speed thanks to the voltage increase ability and recently the GTX 460 HAWK from MSI offered us just some insane clocks, tipping almost 1GHz on the core.
