The Gigabyte GTX 650 Ti Boost is a complete re-invention and re-build of what is already a proven performance platform. Using the GK106 based GTX 650 Ti Boost, Gigabyte took the rest into their shop, coming out with an all new PCB and Windforce 2X cooler to ensure that every aspect of the platform is done right. The enhanced Ultra Durable 2 PCB features a good rigid base, with low RDS MOSFETS, ferrite core chokes and solid Japanese capacitors delivering clean power, all while upping durability and longevity. A four heatpipe design Windforce cooler with two slim, silent fans keeps the GTX 650 Ti running cool with incredibly low noise. To boost performance, the Gigabyte GTX 650 Ti Boost receives a factory OC to 1032MHz with Boost set to 1098MHz, and 2GB of GDDR5 is clocked to 6008MHz. To help reel in the potential of the 650 Ti Boost, Gigabyte’s OC Genie II can tweak and monitor clock speeds, voltages and fan curves to get the most from your 650 Ti Boost. In addition, OC Genie II will check for driver and BIOS updates and can perform the updates directly through its interface.

I’ve tested a lot of GTX 750 Ti graphics cards so far and none of them have really impressed me at all. A lot of vendors seem to have assumed that because Maxwell is an impressive cool running GPU they can skimp out on the quality of the cooling solution. There are a lot of vendors doing this but it’s good to see there are also a lot who are not doing this. Gigabyte’s GTX 750 Ti WindForce 2X OC is a graphics card that is definitely not skimping out anything. Not only does it have a massive out of the box overclock but it also has a heat pipe based cooling solution and dual HDMI for 4K support. What’s even better is Gigabyte are going with their traditionally aggressive pricing which puts a lot of other graphics card vendors to shame.

While the stock GeForce GTX 760 is one of the best price/performance platforms to come along to date, the Gigabyte GTX 760 OC takes it a step further on every level. The “OC” naturally stands for “overclock”, with the Gigabyte GTX 760 OC taking the base/boost clock up to a screaming 1085/1150MHz. Combined with GPU Boost 2.0, this leaves the Gigabyte GTX 760 OC regularly producing sustained speeds of over 1200MHz. While increased speed typically results in increased heat, the new Gigabyte Windforce 3X with Triangle Cool Technology keeps the GTX 760 OC running far cooler and quieter than a normally clocked reference card. Three slim fans combined with a large fin array, three 8mm direct touch heatpipes and a unique RAM heat spreader all keep heat at bay. 2GB of GDDR5 are clocked to an effective 6008MHz on a 256-bit interface. To optimize the GTX 760, Gigabyte includes the OC Guru II tool for tweaking voltages, clocks and fans along with complete monitoring capabilities and even BIOS flash tools. Four outputs include DVI-I, DVI-D, DP and HDMI with audio. In keeping with the push toward efficiency, the GTX 760 OC requires one 6-pin and one 8-pin PCIe, but only a recommended 500W PSU.
