As good as the GTX 780 is, it was getting a little boring. Gaming gets a bit stale in the summer but now we are starting to see new games on the horizon and three hit this week with the launch of Splinter Cell Blacklist, Saints Row IV and Final Fantasys new MMO, A Realm Reborn. So today we will take a look at Gigabytes GTX 780 Overclock and while we are at it compare to a standard 780 as well as the fastest single GPU card AMD have to offer; finding out how each performs in those new titles as well as the likes of Crysis 3 and Battlefield 3.
Gigabyte has three NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 models for you to pick from. The card that we are looking at today is the Gigabyte GTX 960 G1 Gaming, which is the flagship model.
So its just over a week since NVIDIA officially announced their contender to the single core GPU battle between themselves and AMD. The GeForce GTX Titan has been the talk of the town for a little while and now we are finally able to get our hands on one and see what the fuss is all about. NVIDIA have said that they are going to leave it to us, the reviewers, to decide whether or not this new card is any competition for AMD's 7970. This naturally can be taken either way in that they honestly don't know how it will compare, or they are hiding the fact that this is not only going to give AMD a run for their money, but they will have to sprint to keep up.
In this review PCSTATS checks out the reference based Gigabyte GV-N260C896H-GA Geforce GTX260 videocard. This flagship PCI Express x16 2.0 videocard has 216 shader processors that can work as vertex or pixel shading pipelines. Best of all, Gigabyte have pre-overclocked the Geforce GTX260 from the default 578MHz clock speed to 630MHz, and bumped up the 1242MHz shader clock to 1356MHz. The Gigabyte GV-N260C896H-GA videocard boasts a healthy 896MB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 1000MHz, running on a 448 bit wide interface. The Geforce GTX260 is a big chip, built on a 55nm process it contains an astounding 1.4 billion transistors.
Today we have Gigabytes GTX 275 Super Overclock in our labs which takes nVidia's GTX275 to a whole new level. To make things even more interesting we have paired this impressive card with Nvidias 3D Vision kit, today we see if the latest development in display technology is ready for the mainstream market.
Today we have one of the top end GTX 470's on our test bench, the Gigabyte GTX 470 Super Overclock. It features custom PCB, cooler and the fastest core we have seen on a GTX 470 to date. We will be putting it through a selection of tests including Medal of Honor, Fallout New Vegas (3D Vision), F1 2010 (DX11 Patch) and 3D Blu-Ray playback to find out how much Gigabyte have improved on the reference design.

Over the last month or so we have taken a look at a number of GTX 560 Ti models from various manufacturers and in the majority of cases we have been impressed. The stock GTX 560 Ti is a good card with great performance for the price and offers a nice entry into stereoscopic 3D and PhysX. That said the reference design does have some stiff competition from the Radeon 6870 and more recently the 6950 1GB.
On our test bench is a GTX 570 from Gigabyte and the Radeon 6970/6950 from Sapphire. We will be overclocking each of these and putting them head to head against each other and an overclocked Radeon 5870 to find out how the new cards compare in this scenario. As always real world gameplay will be used, including Black Ops and HAWX 2 and just for fun we will throw in 3DMark 2011 Professional.
