Are all these extras enough to raise the Gigabyte G1 Gaming GeForce GTX 980 Ti video card to the top of your list? At a price point of $689.00 USD and one of the highest factory overclocks (with Super OC) it quite possibly could be

As enthusiasts, we're always interested in the latest monster video cards: the expensive, high-end products that blast through benchmarks and play all your games with buttery-smooth frame rates at the highest resolutions with all the settings maxed out- and sucking a not inconsiderable amount of electricity while doing so! But these products represent only a tiny fraction of the number of video cards sold; the low-to-mid-end cards comprise the bulk of the market. Besides, a GTX285 or Radeon 5870 isn't the ideal solution for every situation: considerations from a limited budget to building a small, quiet system come into play. NVIDIA has been filling out the low-middle end of their video card product line lately, and in this article Benchmark Reviews tests the GIGABYTE GV-N240D5-512I video card equipped with with NVIDIA's new GeForce GT240 GPU and 512M of GDDR5 memory.

For some the $200+ price tag associated with the GTX 460 continues to be too much and the new GTS 450 we've looked at over the past month seems to be doing a good job of filling that low $100 bracket that users on a budget no doubt appreciate.

The GV-N450-1GI GTS 450 is an excellent example of what happens when Gigabyte takes a little initiative to improve on a good thing. The result is a reference design video card with an improved cooler, for longer life, and a respectable factory overclock for increased performance. Together these equal an excellent value add for any gamer on a budget.

We have seen many factory-overclocked cards from different vendors, but most of these cards just push the GPU/MEM clocks using reference design hardware. Once in a while, a cards pop up like this Gigabyte SOC card which deviates from the group and packs a whole lot more punch then what other vendors can offer.

This article is devoted to new graphics cards from Gigabyte. We have two products based on NVIDIA GPUs from different price and performance ranges: GeForce GTS 250 (aka 9800 GTX+, based on the good old G92) and GeForce GTX 275 (an intermediate between GTX 260 and 285, closer to the latter in terms of speed).

Well, that was before Gigabyte got its hands on a couple GTX 285's and decided to push them even further, creating the Gigabyte GV-N285OC-2GI videocard. While the stock nVidia Geforce GTX 285 has a core clock speed of 648MHz, Gigabyte has pushed the GV-N285OC-2GI to 660MHz. Shaders have been ramped up from 1476MHz up to 1504MHz, and the memory capacity has doubled. The Gigabyte GV-N285OC-2GI has a staggering 2GB of GDDR3 memory running at 2400MHz! The Gigabyte GV-N285OC-2GI is a beast of a videocard, designed to not only compete with the Radeon HD 4890, but crush it outright. Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war, indeed.

We've already had a look at one GTX 460 today which came from MSI. That particular version was a 768MB card and while you might be thinking that the 1GB is much of the same thing, you would be mistaken.

The GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 470 Super Overclock Edition graphics card is a sharp looking graphics card. Ignoring the sexy black anodized aluminum shroud and the three fans to keep this beast cool, the GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 470 Super Overclock Edition comes to the party well armed. Along with its looks, the GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 470 Super Overclock Edition brings to the party the fastest core of any of the GeForce GTX 470's out there! Read on to see how it performs against our field of competitors!

The Super Overclock series from GIGABYTE is one of my personal favorite series and the main reason for this is that they're bringing the series to a wide range of budgets. The last generation of 200 series cards saw the higher end models get the treatment. In the HD 5000 series ATI range we've seen both the HD 5870 and HD 5770 get it which cater for two different price ranges. And today we're seeing the GTX 470 get the treatment.
