Today we're looking at the GIGABYTE Radeon HD 5670 vga card. At first sight nothing special about this card, apart from (reading from the box) enormeous 80mm large fan, the golden (!) plated HDMI connector and to top it off: DX11 support. Oh, and it's also Windows 7 compatible. Actually, the card doesn't look that bad, as in 'I have seen worse'. It's not a real good looker, though ... but it's what is underneath that big cooler that matters.

In the next few days stock of the revised XFX Radeon HD 6850 Black Edition will be landing at a store near you and today we have one of the very first samples on our test bench. With a brand new dual fan cooler and factory overclock can it compete with a top of the range GTX 460? We will find out as it is put through a selection of real world tests which include Black Ops, F1 2010, Blu-Ray 3D and GPU computing.

Not everyone can afford the highest specification, fastest graphics card though and for that reason, less than a month on, NVIDIA are launching the GTX 570. On our test bench we have a model from Inno3D which is factory overclocked and we will be putting it through its paces in a selection of real world tests which include Black Ops, Stereoscopic 3D gaming, GPU Computing, Blu-Ray 3D playback and we will even throw in a quick look at 3DMark 2011 Professional.

Test der Geforce GTX 570: Die zweite Geforce 500 soll für rund 350 Euro die Geforce GTX 480 beerben und dabei leiser und sparsamer sein. PC Games Hardware testet, ob dieses Vorhaben gelingt.

The new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 1280MB graphics card looks very similar to the GeForce GTX 480, but comes with a much lower price tag and faster clock speeds. Read on to see how the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 does against nearly twenty other video cards when we put it to the test on 11 benchmark applications! This might just be a card to pick up for yourself this holiday!

With the GTX 580 launch being extremely rough for us, there was no way the GTX 570 launch could be any rougher. Still, it wasn't easy with the card shipping to us at the last minute and me having to personally pick it up from the courier depot nothing short of 15 hours ago so that I could get this review to you. Still, everything went to some form of plan in the end and at least I'm able to bring you the GTX 570 review the second the NDA lifts; even if it does have to share the lime light a little with 3DMark 11. I'm not sure if it was done on purpose by one of the companies or what, but you would assume that they both can't be that happy; you'd think we'd have a little bit of space between the two launches. Really, though, it doesn't matter now.

The GeForce GT 430 is currently the simplest DirectX 11 GPU from NVIDIA for the retail market (NVIDIA also has the GeForce GT 420, but this particular model is only available inside pre-built PCs). Let's see how this factory-overclocked card from MSI fared in our tests.

After testing the GTX 580 at stock clocks there's clearly a little bit of a love hate relationship going on with the card. The one thing you can't take away from it is the performance that it offers out of the box. Considering you've essentially got the performance of two slightly overclocked GTX 460s in not just a single PCI-E card, but more importantly a single GPU card, is nothing short of fantastic.
