The EVGA GeForce GTX 760 Super Clocked ACX graphics card is just $10 more expensive than the standard models, but it offers better acoustics, thermal performance, visuals and it can be overclocked through the roof. To us it is a no brainer which card is the one to get.
Now that we have taken a look at the GTX 760 from Nvidia, which of course means it is time to see what some of the other manufactures have done with their GTX 760 designs. First up is a look at a card from EVGA called the GTX 760 Superclocked w/ACX. Some of you might remember the GTX 770 ACX that we recently took a look at, this is very similar. Hopefully the performance that we saw with the GTX 770 ACX will be similar to the GTX 760 ACX; if that is the case we should be very happy with the card. Of course there is only one way to find out, read on to see.

While its reputation certainly precedes it, EVGA has shown no sign of complacency in designing the GTX 770 Classified with ACX Cooling. The EVGA GTX 770 Classified takes the already astounding GTX 770 platform to the hilt in every respect. First, EVGA has designed an all new oversized (11” x 5”) PCB specifically for the Classified, featuring beefier, more consistent power delivery and a Double BIOS with three programmable boot settings. This allows you to keep your stock settings on one BIOS while experimenting with two separate bootable settings on the second with the simple flip of a switch.
This morning we introduced you to Nvidia’s latest video card, the GTX 770. Not to spoil to much from the review, because you really should take a look at it. But not only was I impressed with its performance, I was blown away at the overclock I was able to get on it, all while running the stock cooler. The fine folks over at EVGA are introducing a few variations on the GTX 770 as well, one of them being their new Active Cooling Xtreme or ACX for short model. We just happened to get our hands on it and I’m going to put it through its paces. We know what the GTX 770 with a reference cooler, but what is it capable of with a little more cooling.

Today we are looking at EVGA's take on the GTX 770, the EVGA GeForce GTX 770 SC w/ ACX Cooler. The SC stands for Super Clocked and brings a nice boost to both the base clock and boost clock speeds right out of the box.
