NVIDIA today launched the GeForce GTX 660 Ti graphics card, which is available today starting at only $299. NVIDIA says that the GeForce GTX 660 Ti is 41 percent faster on average than the GTX 560 Ti from 2011, and 58 percent faster on average than the GTX 470 from 2010. Read on to see how it performance against several other cards from AMD and NVIDIA in our review today!

Recently AMDs partners were given the ability to design and release their own 7990 products (or 7970 X2 if you like). This would see two 7900 series GPUs on one PCB and every design would be different, PCB layouts, power spec, outputs, coolers... the works. One of the first to market with a 7990 is PowerColor with their Devil 13 card. This is as Extreme as Radeons currently get and today we put it head to head with the GTX 690 to find out which is best in the latest games including Max Payne 3 and Battlefield 3 at resolutions up to 5760x1080... all with our i7 CPU running at 5GHz.

It has only been a few weeks since the launch of the GTX 660 Ti but again NVIDIA are ready with a new card, two in fact, the GTX 650 and GTX 660. Today we will be focusing on the GTX 660 and looking at a couple of overclocked models using resolutions from 1920x1080 to 5760x1080. As always the latest games such as Max Payne 3 and Sleeping Dogs are covered and a little SLI is thrown in too.

When it comes to creating a high end graphics card, very few companies can match Asus. Today we are looking at their new Matrix HD7970 Platinum graphics card, which features a hefty metal, dual fan cooler and out of the box overclocked settings. This card uses a 20 phase VRM which takes power from two 8 pin PCIe power connectors. The VRM features a sophisticated load line calibration system with manual LLC factor control which helps counter V-Droop. Is this the ultimate HD7970? Can it take the crown from the class leading Sapphire HD7970 6GB Toxic Edition which we reviewed several months ago?

We overclock the Power Edition version of the GTX 650 Ti and see what we can do with the model.

With the exception of the custom 7990 range of graphics cards that AMD partners have been developing, the most powerful official AMD Radeon graphics card is still the 7970 which competes with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 and utilises a powerful single core Tahiti GPU as well as some out of this world specs but some brands aren't content on leaving it like this and want to put their own spin on things, and we've seen this many times before, mainly from Asus, and today is no different.

We published a rather special article today, just in time for some last-minute holiday shopping. Everybody would of course love to have the latest and greatest of graphics cards, but do you know whether your computer can actually get the most out of a high-end graphics card? If you’re going to spend that much money on a video card, you obviously want to get the performance you expect. And there are other components that can be a performance bottleneck, your processor for example. We set out to find out exactly which AMD and Intel processors are required to squeeze every single available fps from a high-end graphics card. We tested the Radeon HD 7970 and GeForce GTX 680 in combination with 10 different CPUs, ranging from low-end to top-of-the-line.
