AMD’s Fusion platform was released in January and a few weeks ago KitGuru spent some time with a ‘yet to be released’ MSI Fusion System Prototype – we were actually the first in the world to review it.

Since the product launched in April AMD’s partners have struggled to bring these cards to market. Nothing is more annoying that a paper launch, especially when the demand seems high for the new AMD flagship. Sapphire sent us their card last week and we have spent some time playing with the hardware in a QUAD SLI configuration, paired up with our AMD HD7990 reference sample.

Very few manufacturers can compete with Sapphire when it comes to creating a flagship video card. Over the last year they have consistently released some of the finest graphics cards to market. Today we are looking at their latest high end HD7970 Overclock Edition which is supplied with twin bios overclock configurations and proprietary twin fan cooling solution.

Last month we reviewed the latest flagship GPU from Sapphire, the incredible HD7970 6GB Toxic Edition. The 7970 Toxic managed to get the enthusiast audience salivating, although most simply couldn’t afford the bank breaking asking price. In an attempt to rectify this today we are looking at the brand new HD7950 Vapor X card – another pimped out, heavily modified solution from the company, but targeted at a more affordable price point. Our sample was one of the first from the factory, before even the retail boxes were printed.

Today we are looking at the new graphics card from Sapphire, The HD7950 MAC Edition. As the name would suggest this discrete solution has been designed specifically for Apple computers, namely the flagship Mac Pro Desktop. Until today the most powerful AMD graphics card that you could get for the Macintosh platform has been the 1GB HD5870 – no doubt a killer card, but two generations behind current hardware.

The Sapphire FleX cards have been firm favourites in the Kitguru offices since they were initially launched and today we are looking at the latest high end model – the HD7950 FleX. Not only have Sapphire included their custom display technology, but the card receives an overclock and a proprietary two fan cooler. Today we look at this card with a variety of games, including some titles running across three 24 inch screens at 5760×1080 resolution.

Today we are taking our second look at a HD7870 Tahiti LE card, this time from Sapphire. Our previous experiences with the HD7870 Tahiti LE have been memorable but today we wanted to show something different. We push the Sapphire card to the limit and manually overclock two competing AMD and Nvidia based ‘pre-overclocked’ solutions from HIS and MSI. Is the new Sapphire HD7870 Tahiti LE good value for money?

Last week we reviewed the overclocked XFX HD7870 Black Edition graphics card, and today we look at the Sapphire HD7870 Overclock Edition. This card features a custom cooler, with twin fans and overclocked out of the box settings to appeal to the enthusiast audience.

Sapphire are readying their 7870 cards and first out of the gate is their custom design OverClock Edition. We have one on our test bench today and here is a gallery which shows what Sapphire are offering.
